✔ Ingredients (Serves 2 to 3)
2 lb cut-up bone-in chicken pieces, 2 tablespoons cheongju (refined rice wine) , 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, cooking oil as needed
📌 Tip. You can use white wine instead of cheongju(refined rice wine).
✔ Batter
1 cup (5 oz) wheat flour (all-purpose flour or pastry flour), 1 cup (6 oz) potato starch, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon curry powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon paprika powder, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon ginger powder, 1 cup cold water

Puedes sustituirlo, el jarabe, por miel, la harina de papas, es puré instantáneo, el licor...??? cualquier licor que no sea muy aromático, te sirve, yo uticilizaria coñac o vino blanco... y todo lo demás, rara es la cocina en la que no hay curry o chili, si no se tiene, pimentón picante o cayena, bien trituraditos....

Bueno Lily si te he podido ayudar, para mi es una alegría, como mujer casa ya muy madurita, la cocina es mi gran pasión, y con el tiempo he aprendido que muchos platos se pueden cocinar igual, yo tengo un problema con el picante y la salsa de soya y todos sus derivados, y si no los puedo usar, pues lo sustituyó con otros ingredientes, será por ingredientes...!!! en todas las cocinas los hay, en mayor o menor medida, se empieza por las especies más sencillas, tomillo, romero, orégano, hierbas provenzal, perejil, cilantro, albahaca, estos 3 mejor tenerlos frescos, yo tengo la suerte de tener terraza y siempre tengo un par o tres jardineras con estas hierbas frescas, y también un par de macetitas con cebollino, picadito muy fino, es una delicia, para sopas, ensaladas, y como adorno en algunos platos de carne, pasta o pescado... espero a ver podido echarte una pequeña mano en tú reto en la cocina, y recuerda el ingrediente que no debe faltar nunca, y no cuesta un céntimo, es prepararlo todo con muchísimo amor y cuidado, ser generosa en los condimentos, menos con la sal, eso en cocinar, pero con la repostería, se ha de ser muy escrupulosa con todas los ingredientes y medidas, porque la repostería es como un laboratorio de química, y sus ingredientes se han de usar con la justa medida y sin pasarse en nada, mi profe de cocina nos decía cuando éramos apéndices, una frase que lo resume todo a la perfección, para guisar, ser generosos y tacaños con la sal, y en los postres y repostería, como un científico que está trabajando en una central nuclear, y todo aderezado como muchísimo amor e ilusión...!!!
