You might have thought that the camera facing the sun was bad but it's a beautiful beginning to the vid. The Sun, The Earth, and the boat wobbling about allows the mind to see the planets in motion amidst a man fishing on a planet in the universe.

Crikey John that's dream fishing there. Mill pond conditions and that is a dream. God i love conditions like that. How beautiful, and thanks for sharing that. It's really special as an Angler to have those conditions. The best Angling moments in life are made right there Just Amazing, Stevie in Fife.
My favorite way to fish here on the Texas gulf coast is trot lining. We are allowed 100 hooks in the water. I only keep what i need for my family and usually keep a bit extra for people fishing from shore or docks that show up with kids. I like to think that i can help put food on the table if they haven't had a good catch to take home. I am always sure to choose my words carefully and make it seem like they are doing me a favor for lightening the work i have to do.
Honestly I love watching your videos. You're very respectful to your local ecosystem and very educational. I appreciate that from you. As well you do what I do too, if I see a beautiful fish I usually release it at the end of my fishing day. Again up most respect! Also keep educating because I've been fishing for years and just recently started foraging. I have to say if it wasn't for your positive education I would not know what I was doing. THANK YOU!! @@TheFishLocker Absolutely. I live on a narrowboat and have spent the last couple of months on my winter mooring with the canals closed, but its an idyllic rural spot with monster carp in the pool here.
Another belting video, got 2 mins in and noticed it was 30 mins long so paused and went and made a brew. I've never had a Gilthead, my time will come! Love those early morning sessions, that dawn chorus from the birds is amazing. Look forward to the catch and cook video.

A friend did catch a black bream in my boat a few years ago. Possibly the only one to ever visit Filey bay. Keep them coming and stay safe and well.

1st of all what a mark to fish. Being out on ya boat first light with the sound of the birds. Some times i have to remind myself your fishing in England!! The sun in the camera didn't bother is not 1 bit wasn't a problem at all. was a top class vid. Thanks mate 🎣🎣
Beautiful intro! Millpond calm, barely a ripple, sun rising, pheasants calling, pigeons cooing and the tail end of the dawn chorus. And that's before we enjoy all the fishing and the info. Really enjoy this channel. Just full of gems. Cant wait to get out and fish \0/
Ive never been a very active angler but just started fishing again, a few years after i took my son on his first of many trips on our local pond and river. Really enjoying myself 'floating' on my near river The WEY. I'm not very good or experienced, but watching the float trickle down that lovely river, gives me such a wonderful, expectant excitement, that now has me hooked and i want to go every day! 'The Fish Locker', is new to me and as I never go sea fishing, a bit alien, but like a lot of fishermen, i can watch any fishing programme as long as its interesting. Glad to say, the chap doing the video and fishing is brilliant. Keeps the information and knowledge he imparts simple and entertaining. Love the way he shows us every fish he catches👍 Keep the video's rolling. 👌

Another great video. Glad you mentioned the importance of staying quiet in shallower waters. Even sea fish know when there's a boat after them. When drifting down the wind for trout on large reservoirs I often spot pods of the decent fish 50m downwind sense the boat and split round it, even when we are in 'run silent, run deep mode' . Fish off the stern or the bow and you'll catch them as they pass you, but the water in front is dead. If we are at anchor early season and me or my mate drop anything we'll look at each other and lift the anchor, knowing that the fish we're after will have moved off.If I had my own boat I'd carpet it!

Ive never been a very active angler but just started fishing again, a few years after i took my son on his first of many trips on our local pond and river.
Really enjoying myself 'floating' on my near river The WEY. I'm not very good or experienced, but watching the float trickle down that lovely river, gives me such a wonderful, expectant excitement, that now has me hooked and i want to go every day!
'The Fish Locker', is new to me and as I never go sea fishing, a bit alien, but like a lot of fishermen, i can watch any fishing programme as long as its interesting. Glad to say, the chap doing the video and fishing is brilliant. Keeps the information and knowledge he imparts simple and entertaining. Love the way he shows us every fish he catches👍

Another great video. Glad you mentioned the importance of staying quiet in shallower waters. Even sea fish know when there's a boat after them. When drifting down the wind for trout on large reservoirs I often spot pods of the decent fish 50m downwind sense the boat and split round it, even when we are in 'run silent, run deep mode' . Fish off the stern or the bow and you'll catch them as they pass you, but the water in front is dead. If we are at anchor early season and me or my mate drop anything we'll look at each other and lift the anchor, knowing that the fish we're after will have moved off.If I had my own boat I'd carpet it!

This is in my top three videos and came at the perfect time.Just had a ANEURYSM operation on Tuesday and this video was incredibly relaxing,thank you so very much.My father was an artist and would paint his subjects and loved Rainbow trout and Bream( guilt heads) and salmon wich l find a bit boring.another one of his favourite things to paint and sculpture was race horses.But fishing was his love and l think lve taken after him.Fishing rocks lo sure you agree.All the very best to you and your family and looking forward to the cooking video 👌🌱🌱🌱😊🌞

loving the channel , I have been fishing on and off most of my life ,a lot of fishing abroad but not so much here In the UK as I always felt I was doing a lot of casting and not much catching .I live in a similar area of the country N.devon, so your channel has really given me inspiration to target species rather than just leave it to luck . my kids also love the foraging videos ,thanks.
