How long does it usually take for coolant to get from full to "low?"
I topped off last october, then got a "coolant too low" msg this morning.
I have barely put 3000 miles on the car since last october. Did not notice any leaks or evidence there of.
None of my other cars in the past has used so much coolant in such little time.

You have a leak from the waterpump or one of the hoses. Check the coolant flange

dr dean i need help determining if i need to use the primer and sealant when installing the front main seal on my N 55 engine
I think i have learned that even though there is a part number change for the front crank seal in 2011 you still shoul use the primer and sealant when installing the seal from what i see the part number change was due to the change from the N54 to N55 engine in 2011 . the seal went from 20mm to 10mm in the thickness dimension as well. nothing i can find says to use or not to use the sealant with the new seal part but i do see that you should use it and it looks like also on N55 I guess in spending another $125 to buy everything to use the sealant to install a $30 seal this time. it obviously leaked the first time i did this job after I was told I didnt need the sealant . anyone have any guidance?

Tried to put these in the other day, the anti trap on the windows kept engaging and the windows wouldn't go up, so I gave up
Do it the way I showed 😁 that’s a common problem when fitting them

That’s fine I just don’t work on other peoples cars I’m afraid. Only my own stuff I got 5 other peoples cars here now I’m working on and can’t even get them finished luckily they ain’t BMW so not hard but I just don’t have the time to do them

They fall off
I ain’t ever had a problem with rubbers or them falling off. If you are having either problems it means you didn’t fit them correctly in the first place I have them on all my cars and they been on for years.

As I said they are a love hate thing some people love them some people hate them 😅 but I like them
