On the edge video it says to put the clips in with the smooth side against the deflector. Did you not scratch the reflectors with the pointy side against them?
hmm odd, i would not have the spike bit against the inside of the window as will damage the seal. no damage to the visible portion of the visors anyways so you wouldnt see a tiny mark if removed as its on the inside and in the groove.
Just fitted these to my Seat Leon. Easy enough to fit but did find that the clips don’t go in like they do in your video, more of a just sit there. I really put some force into putting the clips in but can’t get them to go in any further. They’re visible from the outside of the vehicle - not sure if this is correct.
I have the exact same problem on my Seat Leon Mk4. The clips do not fit in as well as the one in the video. I don't think the gap is deep enough to fit them. I also don't think the visors themselves fit well on the windows. The rear ones appear too small to me. I've contacted them to see what they say.
I have this problem too. I have a mk8 fiesta and the window would not go up. I've tried to adjust it many times but it just gets in the way of the window.
I'm debating between these Edge branded ones and the ispeed ones, both about the same price range.. Any one used both? Iv only every used Heko, which were great.
For me yeh. Means no rain comes in when you have the window open a little. Also less windy noise when window is open. On the Fiesta I left my window open about 2 inches the other day when it was raining all day and inside was dry. Fyew
well had these Edge Visors on my 2006 Fiesta ST for 3 years now and no issues at all. they have been removed a couple of time and re fitted again with no issues and work great
Bad information..... WD40 is particularly aggressive and the last thing you should be using on window seals and runners. also Oil and double sided tape do not mix well.
Used on one of our cars 3 years ago and no issues. To be honest the double sided tape doesn't matter as it really doesn't do anything really once you use the metal clips they are held in solidly
Better and clear installation video than Edge Visor posted on their channel. Thanks for a detailed explanation with the clips.
Need more car videos like this, simple, informative, to the point but with tips and not dragged out. Great video 💯
@@rafecawkwellstansfield7867 thanks appreciate the comment 👍

Every video I have seen all say spike pointing inside car.
@@theDaveBaxter maybe I did them the wrong way round hah, but worked just fine, also no issue removing and re install
Thanks Andy. Was stressing about bending the visor but will give it a go when its stopped raining...
Mine fitted so easy, no need for clips but thanks for the instructions as no clue if needed 😂

Balance the clip on the top of the glass and slowly do the window up - this should push the clip into place !
Ordered some for my 2024 Sportage, will fit them soon, but they do look nice though
Once fitted are there any flex in the will deflectors or are they solid and stiff like glass ?
@@stevewilliamson9664 they have flexibility. So I have been able to take out, clean and re slot back in
Is the sportage a 2019? I have the weather tech rain guards and they don’t fit well but these look like they would fit much better
@@sierrasemanko6844 ours is a 2016 which looks to be the same shape so should work
I’m struggling to fit them on my fiesta it’s as I’ve there to big it’s ripped my seal at the bottom near mirror
thats odd, have you got right year/mark of Fiesta? also may sound daft but also ordered the correct 3 or 5 door as others have done that

I won't have them on my st150 after using heko wind deflecters with the metal clip as well, they still managed to come loose.
These Edge Visors on my Fiesta don't have the metal clips and been great. No issues at all and even had them off and on again

So is that how you fit those on a fiesta??
I have a desperate video fitting the Fiesta ones on my channel but same premise
Does these make much of a difference?

Would you say these are better than heko? Heko quality has been on the decline recently in my opinion.
