  • Amy Carmichael, the Irish Christian missionary, spent 50 years in India helping vulnerable children. She built an orphanage and founded a mission in Dohnavur. Now, in a reverse mission, Kshama Jayaraj, the founder of a Christian church in Mumbai, travels to Belfast, in a reverse mission. She arrives in a city still divided along religious lines but with some church attendances at an all time low. Can her music-infected gospel engage with the youth of Northern Ireland?

This is so inspiring. The mother of our former pastor, (Presbyterian now retired,) was born in India. Her parents were Presbyterian medical missionaries to India.

I am glad I came across this. Mam Kshama was my English teacher in Wilson college, I don't know whether she would remember me but I am glad she is teaching me again about her great faith. I am also on the training ground to do the mission and I am interested indeed in reverse mission. 👍

Her unsinkable faith is indeed inspiring.
It reminds me of something else that was said to be unsinkable that launched out of Belfast.

Greetings from the very end of the world in the Pacific islands. From where i come from we have just been Christianized for the past 105 years that is just recently. We are Catholics & the church is very well alive here on my island & they neighboring islands. In fact we live our lives according to the tolling of the bell everyday. Peace & love to the churches in Europe & hope the new generation realize how important the church is. ❤️❤️❤️

I love Swami Vivekananda's dealings with a Christian missionary from well over a hundred years ago:
“There came a Christian to me once,” recalled Swami Vivekananda, “and (he) said, ‘You are a terrible sinner.’
I said, ‘Yes, I am. Go on.’
He was a Christian missionary. That man would not give me any rest...
He said, ‘I have very good things for you. You are a sinner and you will go to hell.’
I said, ‘Very good (and, so) I asked him (in return), ‘Where are you going?’
‘I am going to Heaven,’ he (the missionary) answered.
I said, ‘I will go to hell.’
That day he gave me up."
    Beautifully played.

Little wonder! Just as his name suggests: Ignorance is bliss! What is more? This 'well-played' out anecdote also proves beyond doubt that your swami was a brazen liar. Because, truth to speak, no missionary would walk up to a random person and say something like that. That is just not how the Gospel - short for God-spelt and meaning the Word of God - is proclaimed. Finally, your foolish swami, by his own admission, chose Hell and made it loud & clear to one & all, and yet here you are, in full knowledge of his choice following his evil & rebellious ways - spurning God and rejecting His Salvation!

Much blessed. Will be nice if a video is made about Dr E W Clark who came to Nagaland, India. 🇮🇳 Because today it one of the most christian state in India sending out hundreds of missionaries. 🙏

Yes take back your cult teachings and do reverse missionary work. Spare us Hindus.

Do you even know the meaning of cult? For that is what Hinduism is all about - an ugly conglomeration of all sorts of evil cults persisting in their relentless rebellion against God. You think you have arrived at the top of the world just because the Apeists, these self-professing sons of Ape, would love nothing more than to have you believe that they'd rather stick with you idolaters of monkeys, elephants, snakes and what not than seek God and His eternal Salvation. Just as well. For it is just as,God had forewarned: your fruits, meaning your words & deeds, expose you for what you truly are. And what is more? You have no excuse - no, not even the excuse of Ignorance, feigned or otherwise.
