Ill need your help again cobu... My pc doesn't work. It takes about 5 mins to get to motherboard logo and then it stays frozen there for some mins. After that it takes about 3 mins to say to me that it can't find the operating system
I'm thinking maybe the the storage drive is bad or OS got corrupted. I would take out all the storage drives and only install the OS drive to see if that works. If still not working... reinstall OS on to another drive (not current OS drive); afterwards, you should be able to see if other drivers are working fine and possibly recover data from original OS install.

Great question. I would start from the bottom of the infrastructure. Below are the steps. 1. Electric power. Check to see if office can handle all equipment needs. From total power output capability to wall how many wall outlets... 2. Network/IP provider. Wired or Wireless? How many users can the network handle? 3. OS and software licensing cost analysis and support personnel. 4. Purchase PCs, Servers, Printers and etc based of previous steps results. This is just a rough plan and a place to start from. The point of it is to make sure that office can support any equipment used. i.e. if not enough electric wall outlets then you can't move to the next step unless that issue is resolved...

Not trying to argue just wanted to know why you would think that saying "Please ensure" would be seen as someone thinking they are higher up on the totem pole or why you would think that saying "Please leave computer on" would be seen as less rude and someone not looking down on someone, when compared to saying "Please ensure"?
All about SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER! Think of it as, the customer needs to come back and you are a shopkeeper and are trying to get lots of money from the customer. SO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY! Let them feel they are being supported by a professional!

Sure, I will put it on my to do list. Some of this stuff is for Tier 2... it just depends at which point Tier 1 transfers tickets to Tier 2 and that could be related to training, tools available and company policy.

Dear Ervin, I just wanted to share some advise from my helpdesk expertise regarding large tickets logged. I just filter them on the users's ticket, and if the same user requests every week a ticket or help, I'll report that to his manager for abuse so he can be sacked! That will reduce the tickets!😃
Incredibly delusional to believe that reporting someone for regular sending of tickets would get them fired. Also not very nice to even have the intention, despite how futile it is.

That's an interesting idea. It could also mean that user needs to be trained on how to use the computer.
