It's the little things that are easily missed... although I think the most useful thing here 'add to building' is pretty new, don't even think I saw it in the beta!
hey uhh when i go into walls i only have 1 wall? like nothing else but 1 wall, no roofs ect

Look, i know it's obvious, but it took me watching this video to realize that there's no actual "wall with window" piece and i have to put the windows on myself....
I just started playing planet coaster for the first time earlier today, and having played quite a bit of Cities Skylines, I wish Cities had a building creation system closer to this; theirs is way less intuitive, and all I ever created was way jankier
I’m so glad I looked into tutorials on this game. I’ve had this game for a couple years yet had a hard time understanding. Now I’m learning things I can’t believe I didn’t already know, like how to know something is a grid item or knowing that there are ways to change the way a path forms.
Love your tutorials man! So helpful. And has anyone ever told you that you sound so much like Professor Brian Cox?? I would take that as a compliment!

I am still completely unclear on how to copy something on the same axis (for instance when he lines up the two windows on different surfaces). Any help would be great! I must be missing something.

Hey Geekism, just a little suggestion, but I think it would be awesome if you branched out to other games like Sims 4, for the building. Would love to see what kind of stuff you could possibly make on there as your building style is great!
Eventually I'd love to branch into other games within the creation/simulation genre and it's great to hear some of you would like that too. Planet Coaster is kind of consuming my life atm lol, But I'll definately look at other games in the future :)

Really good tutorials you've posted! You've helped me alot. :) The only thing I do not like about this building is that you can se the walls go into the shop. I wish they would provide walls that are different widths and not just different heights.
I did notice that afterwards, a 2m wide wall would be so useful for problems like this!

Thanks for the tips! Love this tutorial series. I've always been good at building coasters and placing trees and plants, but never dabbled in creating buildings. These tips will make my park next level for sure.

I can't use the custom building pieces in the challenge mode, is this normal and what can I do about it?
I know this video is old, but I cannot build on the inside of the box that the little booth is at unless I create a new building. I turned collisions off in the options, but no change.
Edit: I got it, but I mostly have to use the shift button to bring it down, but it works

The release of Planet Zoo made me play Planet Coaster again (waiting for a sale next year so I can snatch Planet Zoo for less :P) and I now watched all of your tutorials. It really amazes me how many features this game has that I didn't even know existed. These are the kind of tutorials that should've come with the game!

Am I the only one really confused about the meters here? O.o I mean a normal person is around 1.80m ... how can a thing be 4 meters high when a person just barely can stand inside it O.o?

I never know where or how to start. An idea for a park, but how do you implement it with the four thousand bucks you start with?

Im hopefully doing a live stream later this week (which will be uploaded afterwards) to celebrate 1k subs. This will be a challenge mode I think :)
Geekism, is there a way to set multiple entrances for a park in challenge mode yet? I'm having a problem where my park is so deep people will not go too far in. I've build a monorail (free to enter) to try and solve the problem but the back of my part is bleeding money.
+CWAC you can set multiple 'park gates' (the thing with the tiles on the ground) but guests will only enter the map through the tunnel and will go to the nearest gate. I'm working on some tips for moving guests into the park, should be up in the next week or two :)

Hey good videos however I am trying to "play" along but I can't get the wall to go flush against the shop. It either jumps the grid next to it or raises it above the shop. Am I doing something wrong or is this something that changed in later releases?
+Pauli 'O'nassus I think somewhere, the is an 'autostack' option that you need to turn off :)

Psychodelic Kitten that would be by using advanced move, you can use this by either using some of the settings or pressing x
