    Realism tip: if you're making an Intamin launched coaster remember to put emergency brakes at the end of the launch.

    •  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Is this an Intamin thing? I only just learned about them back in 2017 (Thanks Maverick @ Cedar Pointe!)
      Before, I've seen an Aero Dynamic/Velkoma kinda guy until 2017. Intamin really know how to make a VERY aerobatic coaster and know how to make a slow, low attitude coaster feel like Mach 3! I love it!
      Though, after riding my first RMC (Steel Vengeance) I realize that RMC has stepped into the ring and declared war with Intamin. RMCs are literally the embodiment of a crazy train! 😍

    • @samurai5589
      @samurai5589 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I don't think Intamin still does this cause lSMs can also slow down the train in an emergency

    • @flipperion
      @flipperion ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@samurai5589 no it's still does that now days. LSM can slow down the train but not as quick as magnetic brakes. On some modern launches, like on batman Gotham city escape, the launch is alternated with lsm and magnetic brakes

    So some tips to make coasters smoother, from what I've found:
    1: Smooth starting from the back of the coaster going backwards along the track, then once at the station reverse and go forwards. Repeat process multiple times until it's smooth, and don't overdo it.
    2: Manually heartline things instead of using the ingame tool. This is tricky to do, especially coming out of elements, and may require some adjustment once the track has been placed down, but it typically results in smoother tracks in my experience.
    Also, I've found 5m track segments smooth better than 4m for some reason.

    • @KrimsonStorm
      @KrimsonStorm ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I also noticed that about 5m segments. I thought I was crazy!

    This is going to sound so weird, but I’m really struggling with building these coasters! I just got the game yesterday, and it looks like I don’t have as many options as you. When putting down tracks the only buttons I see are ones to make them shorter, and to adjust the angle. I also don’t see the chain track in my track list! Can anyone please help me fix this? Thanks so much for the awesome tutorial!!
