- 33rd and final étape of the Camino Francés from O Pedrouzo to Santiago de Compostela.
After many journeys on the Camino de Santiago in the past ten years, this time the focus lies on the video project. Thus not a lot of stopping and exploring during the étapes (some breaks and encounters are cut out).
COVID-19: Filmed in the summer of 2020 when Spain and the Camino including most albergues were open again for a few weeks after the first lockdown. Masks in all albergues, bars/restaurants and when crossing cities. There will likely never again be as few people on the Camino as in summer of 2020.

Your videos I watch to remember *my* Camino. And this is more enjoyable than watching posts by video bloggers and being a “tag-along” spectator on *their* Camino.
There are many videos out there that are good for watching before you walk the Camino (the fun, social, talking videos), but there are hardly any, like yours, that are perfect for watching after you've walked it!
Again, kudos to you, sir!
PS -- And, yes, sometimes, I like watching video blogger posts too.

Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to review each stage. I have now also finished my Camino Portugues da Costa, where I had 8 days of rain out of 10 running days... and at the end I also got covid... Everything wasn't so great, my heart stays with the camino frances!
Oh no so much rain and even covid, i'm sorry to hear. We didnt have that much rain but also a few days. The camino francés stays in first place for me too😄 tonight there should be a preview of the videos from the portugues (if i programmed it correctly back home).

thank you so much for filming SJPP to Santiago the whole distance, so many memories and small sections I had forgotten came flooding back - one thing that had faded was just how far we had walked, my memories had shrunk to small selected favourite sections but this refreshed the scale - excellent work - I am booking my ticket to do it all again in 2024

A great culmination. Perfect end with the cathedral as daylight fades. Thanks for providing several weeks of pleasure and anticipation. I shall be starting again 24th august and this has been the perfect appetiser!

You're right, only very little rain in 2020. When i recorded the way in 2019 there was a lot more and even some very heavy rain with little streams building and flowing down the trails. Maybe sometime i'll edit a comparison video with the most contrasting views of the same part of the camino between 2019 and 2020☺️

I am glad to see that the Camino goes through towns, agriculture, and poverty, which makes it representative of Spain. On the contrary, America's great trails like the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide trails, scenic though they are, divert around all of these, so they hardly represent America at all and give little opportunity to view local ways of life.

Tonight there should be a preview of the caminho portugues on the channel, the camino to finisterre and muxia is recorded as well, right now i'm on the camino del norte and in winter maybe i'll visit the camino invierno😄
Well done! This has been a breathtaking series. Thank you so much for sharing the journey with us. I especially loved the finale in the cathedral square. Since I have been following your videos this has become even more fitting for me as during the time that you have been uploading these my own camino plans have completely changed. After 3 years of gearing up to do the Portuguese route this summer circumstances hace changed and instead I will set off from Paris on 8th July to walk to Santiago probably in three separate stages over the next few summers, so eventually will also be following the Frances. I can't wait! Thanks so much again and all the best!

Awesome sauce. Absolutely loved that. Your choice of music was so on point, particularly that last track (once Shazam finally worked out what it was; it got there in the end).
I think my favourite stage visually was the 2nd stage. The green tunnel pilgrims hike down looks so soothing. Can't wait to start my own Camino now.
I also like the time lapsed on cathedral lighting. Really fantastic!!! I missed the Camino. I did the Ingles years ago and really wanted to be back on another route. Maybe Portuguese and later the Frances.
Oh i really wish to walk the camino ingles as well. Have never been there but hopefully will in the future. Thank you!

Finished this playlist today. I did the Camino Francés this September so my feelings are quite fresh and it is remarkable how many sections I recognize and some I don‘t. It is very nice that we have shared a lot of the alternative routes as the Camino Douro, Obanos or the way out of Leon. I would be interested in a making of, what equipment you have used and what settings. Thank you for sharing your journey and buen camino.

Hey thank you for your comment. It`s been some months since I was last logged in here. The Del Norte was amazing! Had to skip the last kilometers because of knee pain, but still it was superb. The Camino Francés is still my favourite though😄

Saint Jean Pied Du Port nach Finisterra ist genau mein geplanter Weg.
SJPDP - Finisterre, meine absolute lieblingsreise. Ich wünsche auf jeden fall ganz viel freude!!
Ich schaue mal, ob ich den weg jetzt im juli nochmals schön filmen kann. Die letzten aufnahmen vom camino finisterre würde ich schon gerne nach dem portugiesischen weg hochladen, weil sie auch gleich danach gefilmt wurden😯
