If you don't have the active exhaust, you can do a muffler delete, keep the resonator, and add an H or X pipe just before or after the resonator (whichever fits). That way you get more sound but the crossover for power/sound and the resonator keeps it from being too loud. I've never seen a video of it, but that should be the best combo of power and sound for the money, that'll cost a lot less than a full catback.
It shouldn’t void your warranty, but always check with the dealership.. make sure you document the name and time of call… or get it in writing via email.
you barely get any gain of horsepower using an x-pipe. also coyote engines are known for being kinda raspy and putting an xpipe is only gonna amplify it
@@Vitrated i didnt say an x pipe this is compared to an h pipe. on coyotes they typically sound better with an h pipe but other cars sound best with an x pipe. when you dont use a crossover pipe the exhaust is fighting itself so you lose 2-3 hp and it sounds clappy af.
hey, im new to cars. just got my first car an EcoBoost 2024 and I was looking to get an h-pipe. first I don't know which one to get, there are so many options and I can't find any that specifically says for an EcoBoost, they usually just say a gt h-pipe.... and secondly, if I just want an h-pipe, do I need to change anything else or just a resonator delete h-pipe is enough? and FYI I live in canada.
I dig the H pipe over the X... sounds great.

Sounds really good, I'm looking at getting one of these at the end of the year
Price went up on them so good luck
Can you customize oem resonator to make it straight pipe without voiding warranty

Wondering that
Nothing i mean nothing can beat the old straight pipe... Its fire its cracking its louder i you want to upgrade then upgrade it like a man
always need a crossover pipe. lose power without it and it sounds worse. its why squatted trucks run it.

Your best bet is to keep it stock, idk how new you are to cars but a eco boost is a straight 4 and it won't sound as good as your thinking
thanks
H-Pipe sounds better.
