Furina is my most beloved character. I had over 300 wishes saved, after getting lucky on her and her weapon I decided to go all out for C6. No regrets. I think I only failed the 50/50 twice

I'm saving for c6r1 furina as f2p💔.. I don't have her yet so when she reruns I'll get c0r1 of her (I have 327 wishes saved + 21 pity no guarantee) and i plan not to pull for any other characters but this shit is finna be hard bc i want nahida and clorinde but whatever I'm loyal for Furina, if I managed to skip all characters from 4.8 i can keep this going

My journey to C6 was a lot simpler. I fell in love at first sight and what do you know her re-run was just around the corner 2 months away from when I started playing Genshin, so I managed to save 300 wishes. And I managed to get her to C2 spending it all. No regrets. Then I knew I needed to get her to C6 so I just needed to wait... And wait... Wait... Wait... 496 days is whar I had to wait for her Re-run XD It was a piece of cake by that time... I had more than enough. It took me 400 to get her to C6 so a total of 700 for this endeavor... NO REGRETS. She's not meta, not even close but I don't do abyss anyway, by the time I started Genshin I was already a veteran raider from another game so the itch for accomplishment didn't follow me to Genshin. Im a simple man, is my most played character and I will play with her even if the enemies take ages to die. (Not really even if they resis physical, a C6 is still a C6)
I had plenty of wishes saved up to get a C6 Noelle. I didn't. The game only gave me Freminet C7. But I have a C1 Kazuha, who I'll wish for in the future, if I get him at C6 good, else i'll take what I'll find.
It was really fun to listen to another furina enjoyers journey to C6. i've been saving for C6 furina since 5.0 P2, right after i lost 50/50 on Mualani banner. I'm currently sitting at C1R0, 315 wishes, 70 pity and a guarantee on the character banner & 51 pity on weapon banner. Looking forward to her next banner, hope i don't have to whale lol.

If you think 5 Ganyus in 270 pulls is lucky, i pulled 5 Nilous in 111 pulls during her release. She became my first C6. I also got Yelan to 6 and the most importantly i got the best C6 character, Qiqi...
I dont currently have a c6 five star, but i do plan on c6-ing my lyney one day. He's the one character I've truly whaled on, i got him c0 r1 on his first rerun with arlecchino and then c4'd him on his 2nd rerun last banner. I really dont regret it since he's by far my favorite and pretty much all his constellations are all very strong.
Once i have a favorite its too hard for me to change it. Eula was and is still my favorite since her first release and I dont think that will change throughout genshins lifetime.
I C6R1 Lyney back on his release. I am F2P too, I saved up all of 3.X (skipped every banner during Sumeru, even Nahida). Why? I just.. really like him.. Now, a year later, after a few lucky pulls I have my most-wanted Sumeru chara (Nahida), and Furina too from their reruns!! I don't regret C6ing Lyney at all, I love using him in overworld and abyss, everything dies so quickly xD I think if I ever decide to C6 a 5* chara again, it'd probably be Furina. She just deserves it

Especially love the parts that you mention constellations, with multiple Furinas being on screen with a fixed camera angle like @ 4:44 and 7:33 (did you have other players do that for you on the former, or was it just rotoscoping? Cuz i did notice the jumping furina being on loop lol)

I still remember when Ganyu's 1st trailer was released, I immediately fell in love with her. Many were calling her cryo amber and I simply ignored all of that (I don't even care if she heals the enemies lol) She's my 1st expensive character and it took me a lot of resources just to get her C1R1, before weapon pity existed
I'm a "welkin-only" player who also C6ed both Ganyu and Furina. It took me 650 pulls for Ganyu, and 835 pulls for Furina. Ngl, it was extremely painful bcz in Mihoyos sheety "games" you always go from pity to pity and it takes almost a year of saving to get enough gems for C6. Which is exactly why you should never top-up in gachas - they are intentionally designed to rekt and mentally destabilize you, to force you to spend in the moment of your weakness. Btw, Ganyus last constelation makes her gameplay mmmmmuch better. So i recommend you to save-up gems for few months and C6 her as well.
Your video is similar to my story. I pulled for C2 on the initial banner and HAD to get C6 on her rerun which I did. I love how versatile she is and fills 4 roles (DPS,SUB-DPS,Team Healer with no circle impact,Team Buffer).I use Chiori's weapon on her since I lost the 50/50 for Xilonen's weapon and I get a better overall stats than R5 Festering Desire or R5 Wolf Fang. She's the second character I get to C6 though, Yae Miko was the first because of her unconditional damage that can reach any enemy in the game . I love the idea of characters you can toss in any team and they work. And I lost 50/50 80% of the time since the game launch so I have C5 Qiki,C5Jean,C4Diluc,C4Keqing,C4Mona and C3 Deyha and never pulled a featured 5* early when not guaranteed. My last debacle was 310 wishes for C1 Emilie.

OMG I went the same journey as you! Ganyu was my first fave and loved everything that is Ganyu, I even have her scale fig and other merch. Ganyu was my fave until Fontaine happened. I was really torn to changing my fave to Furina since I already have so much Ganyu merch. Eventually, I did follow my heart and started collecting Furina merch; my fave is the oversized mousepad I bought during Hoyofest and currently waiting for an official scale fig. I still have my Ganyu merch though and while I love both Furina and Ganyu, I have a clear favorite HAHA. I'm planning to get Furina's C6 too but that has to wait since I need Mavuika's C2 first; I always go all the way to C2 + weap for Archons except Zhongli and Venti since I rarely use them.
I'm glad I found this video. I started playing Genshin in 4.0 and basically I wished every patches until 4.4 where I lost a 50/50 to Qiqi on Yae Miko's banner. I cried a lot to be honest (I was having a tough time in life and spent all my primogems on her because I actually was fearing for one's life). I was having Welkin and battlepass, never bought cristals. I had a break for few days (I needed to go under an important surgery) and when I came back, I found out about Columbina in the Fatui video. I fell so much in love with her unique design that I decided to save ever since !! I don't know if I will really enjoy her kit or playstyle in the very end but this saving journey taught me LIFE lessons (like getting the smallest win every day is so much better than aiming for the biggest win which is unreachable and end into self hatred/depression because of it) and I thank Columbina and overall Genshin Impact Gacha system for that. Right now, a few days before 5.3, I have 800 intertwined fates and I plan to go for my very first constellations ever + signature weapon for Mavuika. I love her SO much, I feel like constellations to me are the representation of my feelings and emotions for a character ! Not a way to flex or either ace the end game content faster. It's basically how much I love them. I hope Columbina will release soon yet I hope not so soon since I might lose a lot of my looong saved wishes for Mavuika !
I'm also planning to C6 Furina. I already have her at C4 (I don't care for her weapon). I do play every day and try to explore a lot and finish a bunch of quests so I have a decent amount of savings. But the issue right now is that Mavuika looks really cool and I just want her C0 and if I get unlucky with getting her then I might only have enough left over to get a C5 Furina when she eventually reruns again T-T.
This video perfectly summarizes my experience with Genshin as a whole, and why I too c6 (and r5'd) Furina aswell. As soon as I saw the leaks of "Finina" I absolutely loved her design, and that love enhanced immensely after the huge Fontaine trailer drop. The immediate plan was to get her and her weapon only, but after some thinking, I decided to c6r5 Furina. What you said perfectly describes why her c6 is literally one of the best out there, as her damage output is insane and having her doesn't really replace any older favorites of mine because not only is Hydro a very flexible element to work with, but Furina carries multiple uses, meaning I could use her with Hu Tao (my previous main) and so many others. Perfect summary I say. Congrats on your Super Furina!
As someone who played on and off but came back for Fontaine and ended up loving Furina so much to the point of getting C6R1, your story is so relatable lmao, I ended off her first banner with C4R1 somehow and got her C6 on the rerun, and have always used her in every content available
I only ever seriously swiped in ZZZ for Lighter after losing 50/50 and having absolutely no events or story left to feasibly get him. The lingering feeling of actually spending money for the first time since the release of Genshin gnaws at me anytime I have a wishing session. The "never going back part" really is scary. If I hadn't saved 400+ wishes for Mavuika and Citlali I would have probably swiped after the awful luck I had and then felt awful about it.
I stopped at C4 for Furina and gave her an R5 Key of Khaj-Nisut. Already pretty satisfied with that, not really sure if I'll ever get C6 even though I easily could. I did C6R5 Nahida because she's my favorite by far.

I saved for 3 years for the Pyro Archon. In the end it took me 640 wishes exactly in total. Pretty happy about it. Also ended with 98400 primos and 51 starglitter still so. I love Furina as well so I will be C3ing her (currently at c0). And I also got Uraku hahah, R2 even, I was going for Redhorn. :]
After playing a ton of Star Rail and falling in love with Acheron, I decided to e6 her. It was expensive, but it ended being less than I thought it would. She was outrageously powerful, and that was fun... for a while. Then it trivialized the game. I could easily clear all the content and I realized I prefer building characters and trying to solve problems. Less than two months later, I quit the game and haven't gone back. My advice to people is to consider whether you want an "easy mode" or whether you want a challenge. For me, it's cheaper and more fun to avoid getting constellations.
I had a really similar experience with smaller scale spending where i spent £60 on my first copy of furina and £60 on weapon banner. The £60 i spent on furina was totally worth it and my furina is now C4 thanks to lots of luck and saving up (I have 260 pulls saved for my last two copies). My weapon banner experience was so horrendous that it taught me never to spend money on pulls again but i still buy welkin every month. Baizhu's donut is useless to me. for anyone interested my furina pulls went like this: C0 - 100ish pulls (keqing at 20 pity) C1 - 20 pulls (early 50/50 win) C2 - 80 pulls (guaranteed) C3 - furina then diluc in same 10 pull at 30ish pity C4 - 80 pulls (guaranteed)
yeah honestly if i were to c6 a character it would be furina no doubt. no one else deserves it as much as her. she and her region singlehandedly brought me back into the game and put me into a chokehold for like 6 months. i even did the aranyaka questline when saving for her banner. still get super SUPER nostalgic thinking about the fontaine arc and the music i got into and listened to during the times i was grinding the exploration for her rerun to get her to c6. i dont wanna yap for too long, but so far i have her c3, off of some amazing luck. and im aiming for c6 someday and her weapon, though i am entering a lil burnout after playing the game for so long and without breaks but i will push through it all for her!!
I think C2R1 is a good place to stop on a character you want to invest in. It feels meaningful without going to stupid levels that can negatively impact your enjoyment (enemies dying right away) while using that character, and gives you more room to save for others.
I also C6 Furina and she is my favorite character as well. I remember after wishing and I was pretty lucky getting all 6 constellations and her weapon in 540 pulls. But even then I realized how much money I spent and felt awful that night. Since then I don’t regret it at all and I love playing the game with her but unless you really have the money to spare I don’t ever recommend this to anyone. It’s just a video game that one day could end service and you could own nothing. Save your money people and be frugal and enjoy the great story in Genshin.
I C6'd my Klee but I did it over a period of time. I got her in patch 1.6. Then in patch 2.8, I got her C2. Then when she came back in patch 3.8, I took her to C6. I skipped a lot of banners but I have no regrets. Next on my list is Shenhe and Ganyu.

Furina's c6 crosses my mind more often than I'd like to admit. I know horizontal investment is better these days due to Imaginarium Theater, but I tend to pull characters because I like them, not because they're meta. This has left me missing ~40% of the 5*s due to a lack of interest more than anything. She's c2 right now and definitely one of my core units meaning she's always on one side of the abyss
For perspective the current average number of wishes to get a banner 5* is 93.75. That comes from Genshin's own statement that 5*s get a 1.6% drop overall (pities included), which makes for 62.5 pulls for any 5*; and then multiplying that by 1.5 because of the 50/50.
Early game, my fave was ganyu too, and when Fontaine came out, furina was my fave but on ganyu rerun (I don't remember which one) I failed to get her and still don't have her to this day, but I did get furina on her rerun, so now I am saving for ganyu on liyue chronicle. Whaling isn't really an option for me, as I am too broke lol

I fell in love with Keqing ever since the first day I saw her in the trailers. Her ult, skills and stuff just looked really cool to me. Anyway, I tyhen rerolled many accounts for like a total of like 1600+ wishes, all for a Keqing account but it never happened. I got every other standard character and even two in one account but I didn't want any of em. I gave up, mainly because the reroll wishes were getting less and less. (It started off at like 60 pulls and it went down to like 30 after release rewards went away). Well, who knows, just when tartaglia was released, and I threw a few pulls in for fun, Keqing popped on my screen and I was flabbergasted. Now, after four whole years, and the genshin anniversary later, she is my first ever five star to achieve C6 (not including traveller, duh). I never pulled on her banner even when it was on nor the chronicled wish thingy. She just came and now I have her at C6. I pushed her to top 0.1% Keqings and I'm just happy overall to be a Keqing main. Im proud to be one. You should be too, no matter what character you love.
This really helps, I’m so tempted to swipe for c1 neuvi and weapon. My savings got me a jean and the useless spear. I’m grinding the weapon banner now, since that pity won’t carry over but I’m so disappointed

Rule of thumb: never ever whale for a 4*. The limited banners have pity, but Noelle has none.

I'm a "welkin-only" player who also C6ed both Ganyu and Furina. It took me 650 pulls for Ganyu, and 835 pulls for Furina. Ngl, it was extremely painful bcz in Mihoyos sheety "games" you always go from pity to pity and it takes almost a year of saving to get enough gems for C6. Which is exactly why you should never top-up in gachas - they are intentionally designed to rekt and mentally destabilize you, to force you to spend in the moment of your weakness.
Btw, Ganyus last constelation makes her gameplay mmmmmuch better. So i recommend you to save-up gems for few months and C6 her as well.
Your video is similar to my story. I pulled for C2 on the initial banner and HAD to get C6 on her rerun which I did. I love how versatile she is and fills 4 roles (DPS,SUB-DPS,Team Healer with no circle impact,Team Buffer).I use Chiori's weapon on her since I lost the 50/50 for Xilonen's weapon and I get a better overall stats than R5 Festering Desire or R5 Wolf Fang.
She's the second character I get to C6 though, Yae Miko was the first because of her unconditional damage that can reach any enemy in the game . I love the idea of characters you can toss in any team and they work.
And I lost 50/50 80% of the time since the game launch so I have C5 Qiki,C5Jean,C4Diluc,C4Keqing,C4Mona and C3 Deyha and never pulled a featured 5* early when not guaranteed. My last debacle was 310 wishes for C1 Emilie.

Ganyu was my first fave and loved everything that is Ganyu, I even have her scale fig and other merch. Ganyu was my fave until Fontaine happened. I was really torn to changing my fave to Furina since I already have so much Ganyu merch.
Eventually, I did follow my heart and started collecting Furina merch; my fave is the oversized mousepad I bought during Hoyofest and currently waiting for an official scale fig. I still have my Ganyu merch though and while I love both Furina and Ganyu, I have a clear favorite HAHA. I'm planning to get Furina's C6 too but that has to wait since I need Mavuika's C2 first; I always go all the way to C2 + weap for Archons except Zhongli and Venti since I rarely use them.

I'm glad I found this video. I started playing Genshin in 4.0 and basically I wished every patches until 4.4 where I lost a 50/50 to Qiqi on Yae Miko's banner. I cried a lot to be honest (I was having a tough time in life and spent all my primogems on her because I actually was fearing for one's life). I was having Welkin and battlepass, never bought cristals. I had a break for few days (I needed to go under an important surgery) and when I came back, I found out about Columbina in the Fatui video. I fell so much in love with her unique design that I decided to save ever since !! I don't know if I will really enjoy her kit or playstyle in the very end but this saving journey taught me LIFE lessons (like getting the smallest win every day is so much better than aiming for the biggest win which is unreachable and end into self hatred/depression because of it) and I thank Columbina and overall Genshin Impact Gacha system for that. Right now, a few days before 5.3, I have 800 intertwined fates and I plan to go for my very first constellations ever + signature weapon for Mavuika. I love her SO much, I feel like constellations to me are the representation of my feelings and emotions for a character ! Not a way to flex or either ace the end game content faster. It's basically how much I love them. I hope Columbina will release soon yet I hope not so soon since I might lose a lot of my looong saved wishes for Mavuika !
I'm also planning to C6 Furina. I already have her at C4 (I don't care for her weapon). I do play every day and try to explore a lot and finish a bunch of quests so I have a decent amount of savings. But the issue right now is that Mavuika looks really cool and I just want her C0 and if I get unlucky with getting her then I might only have enough left over to get a C5 Furina when she eventually reruns again T-T.
This video perfectly summarizes my experience with Genshin as a whole, and why I too c6 (and r5'd) Furina aswell. As soon as I saw the leaks of "Finina" I absolutely loved her design, and that love enhanced immensely after the huge Fontaine trailer drop. The immediate plan was to get her and her weapon only, but after some thinking, I decided to c6r5 Furina. What you said perfectly describes why her c6 is literally one of the best out there, as her damage output is insane and having her doesn't really replace any older favorites of mine because not only is Hydro a very flexible element to work with, but Furina carries multiple uses, meaning I could use her with Hu Tao (my previous main) and so many others.

As someone who played on and off but came back for Fontaine and ended up loving Furina so much to the point of getting C6R1, your story is so relatable lmao, I ended off her first banner with C4R1 somehow and got her C6 on the rerun, and have always used her in every content available
I only ever seriously swiped in ZZZ for Lighter after losing 50/50 and having absolutely no events or story left to feasibly get him. The lingering feeling of actually spending money for the first time since the release of Genshin gnaws at me anytime I have a wishing session. The "never going back part" really is scary. If I hadn't saved 400+ wishes for Mavuika and Citlali I would have probably swiped after the awful luck I had and then felt awful about it.

I stopped at C4 for Furina and gave her an R5 Key of Khaj-Nisut. Already pretty satisfied with that, not really sure if I'll ever get C6 even though I easily could. I did C6R5 Nahida because she's my favorite by far.

I saved for 3 years for the Pyro Archon. In the end it took me 640 wishes exactly in total. Pretty happy about it. Also ended with 98400 primos and 51 starglitter still so.
I love Furina as well so I will be C3ing her (currently at c0). And I also got Uraku hahah, R2 even, I was going for Redhorn. :]

After playing a ton of Star Rail and falling in love with Acheron, I decided to e6 her. It was expensive, but it ended being less than I thought it would. She was outrageously powerful, and that was fun... for a while. Then it trivialized the game.
I could easily clear all the content and I realized I prefer building characters and trying to solve problems. Less than two months later, I quit the game and haven't gone back. My advice to people is to consider whether you want an "easy mode" or whether you want a challenge. For me, it's cheaper and more fun to avoid getting constellations.

I had a really similar experience with smaller scale spending where i spent £60 on my first copy of furina and £60 on weapon banner. The £60 i spent on furina was totally worth it and my furina is now C4 thanks to lots of luck and saving up (I have 260 pulls saved for my last two copies). My weapon banner experience was so horrendous that it taught me never to spend money on pulls again but i still buy welkin every month. Baizhu's donut is useless to me.
for anyone interested my furina pulls went like this:
C0 - 100ish pulls (keqing at 20 pity)
C1 - 20 pulls (early 50/50 win)
C2 - 80 pulls (guaranteed)
C3 - furina then diluc in same 10 pull at 30ish pity
C4 - 80 pulls (guaranteed)

yeah honestly if i were to c6 a character it would be furina no doubt. no one else deserves it as much as her. she and her region singlehandedly brought me back into the game and put me into a chokehold for like 6 months. i even did the aranyaka questline when saving for her banner. still get super SUPER nostalgic thinking about the fontaine arc and the music i got into and listened to during the times i was grinding the exploration for her rerun to get her to c6.
i dont wanna yap for too long, but so far i have her c3, off of some amazing luck. and im aiming for c6 someday and her weapon, though i am entering a lil burnout after playing the game for so long and without breaks but i will push through it all for her!!
I think C2R1 is a good place to stop on a character you want to invest in. It feels meaningful without going to stupid levels that can negatively impact your enjoyment (enemies dying right away) while using that character, and gives you more room to save for others.
I love her charged attack (the bow attack when it rains the flower thingy whatever its called ) cause its unique lol.
I also C6 Furina and she is my favorite character as well. I remember after wishing and I was pretty lucky getting all 6 constellations and her weapon in 540 pulls. But even then I realized how much money I spent and felt awful that night. Since then I don’t regret it at all and I love playing the game with her but unless you really have the money to spare I don’t ever recommend this to anyone. It’s just a video game that one day could end service and you could own nothing. Save your money people and be frugal and enjoy the great story in Genshin.

I C6'd my Klee but I did it over a period of time. I got her in patch 1.6. Then in patch 2.8, I got her C2. Then when she came back in patch 3.8, I took her to C6. I skipped a lot of banners but I have no regrets. Next on my list is Shenhe and Ganyu.
i was f2p from the day i started playing genshin (1.6) and until furina, it stayed that way. i didnt have enough primogems before her banner so i bought a welkin a month beforehand. im glad i did because i could barely get her. not my proudest moment but it was definitely worth it. friggin love furina
Furina's c6 crosses my mind more often than I'd like to admit. I know horizontal investment is better these days due to Imaginarium Theater, but I tend to pull characters because I like them, not because they're meta. This has left me missing ~40% of the 5*s due to a lack of interest more than anything.
She's c2 right now and definitely one of my core units meaning she's always on one side of the abyss

Yes, was going to comment this. The most common pull is 77, I think? But the average is drawn down by the occasional very early pull.

Pulling for Ganyu and not pulling for the one thing that makes her palatable, her C6, is insane.
For perspective the current average number of wishes to get a banner 5* is 93.75. That comes from Genshin's own statement that 5*s get a 1.6% drop overall (pities included), which makes for 62.5 pulls for any 5*; and then multiplying that by 1.5 because of the 50/50.

Early game, my fave was ganyu too, and when Fontaine came out, furina was my fave but on ganyu rerun (I don't remember which one) I failed to get her and still don't have her to this day, but I did get furina on her rerun, so now I am saving for ganyu on liyue chronicle. Whaling isn't really an option for me, as I am too broke lol
furina was my first c6. ever since her leaks i knew i wanted to c6 her and i dont regret it. next c6 for me will be either the skirk,tsaritsa, or columbia

I fell in love with Keqing ever since the first day I saw her in the trailers. Her ult, skills and stuff just looked really cool to me. Anyway, I tyhen rerolled many accounts for like a total of like 1600+ wishes, all for a Keqing account but it never happened. I got every other standard character and even two in one account but I didn't want any of em.
I gave up, mainly because the reroll wishes were getting less and less. (It started off at like 60 pulls and it went down to like 30 after release rewards went away). Well, who knows, just when tartaglia was released, and I threw a few pulls in for fun, Keqing popped on my screen and I was flabbergasted.
Now, after four whole years, and the genshin anniversary later, she is my first ever five star to achieve C6 (not including traveller, duh). I never pulled on her banner even when it was on nor the chronicled wish thingy. She just came and now I have her at C6. I pushed her to top 0.1% Keqings and I'm just happy overall to be a Keqing main. Im proud to be one. You should be too, no matter what character you love.
