AC Valhalla First BLACKBOX Infiltration Mission | Siege of Paris Stealth

- The siege of Paris DLC has seen the return of black box missions, a style of stealth missions that give you the freedom to express the assassin fantasy in multiple different ways. I honestly think this is a phenomenal addition to ac Valhalla and reminds me so much of the Unity days. I wanted to record the first one for TH-cam and save the other spoiler-heavy ones for once everyone has played the DLC. I hope you enjoy this stealth infiltration mission.
I am truly in love with the black box assassinations, and I want to preface some things for those who miss the freedom we had in Unity:
-These missions are very well designed. There truly is more freedom of choice than we’ve had since unity.
- This is the type of RPG influence that purists want in assassin’s creed and it fits right in
-There will be time stamps for each stage of the assassination so you can skip to see the event that interests you
-this will be the only spoiler video I make this week. Once everyone has played the DLC I plan on recording the rest of the assassinations, and even re-recording some older ones with different approaches
-As I stated in the comments THERE IS NO WAY TO REPLAY THESE MISSIONS, so please make a manual save before they start so that you can revisit them and try the different approaches.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the twelfth major installment and the twenty-second release in the Assassin's Creed series, and a successor to the 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Wrath of the Druids is a downloadable content expansion package for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, that was released on May 13, 2021. It is the first out of two expansion packs for the game, alongside The Siege of Paris. Basim Ibn Ishaq was a member of the Hidden Ones from the Abbasid Caliphate who operated during the 9th century, working primarily in foreign nations on their behalf.
The Siege of Paris is a downloadable content expansion package for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, that released on August 12, 2021. It is the second out of two expansion packs for the game, alongside Wrath of the Druids.

DISCLAIMER: There is currently no way to replay these wonderful missions within the game... so please i advise everyone to make manual saves on your consoles/pc before starting these missions so that you can go back and explore all the different methods available and soak in those sweet sweet ac unity call backs. Enjoy!

Origins was cool because it had secret passages and you could aproach how you want, but this ones are bether, because you have to explore, do stuff to unlock stuff, wear a specific item, do the dialogue options acording to what you know and then get an awesome kill at the end, its like doing 💯 sincronization but rewarding. Still it could be more Hitman like and having 2-3 unique Kill cinematics. I hope we get way to Replay them. Like a memento galerie or valkirie vision similar to the trials,

I wish the DLCs were continuations of the story so we could have Eivor becoming more of a hidden one as time goes on.

@@AltairStealth if you look at the way they talk About honor, valhalla... Its notisable eivor completes the story arc
But that goes against his character... he often says that he wants his deed to be remenbered because he seeks glory and fame unlike the hidden who work in the shadow
He isnt and will not be a hidden one they would have done that for main game

@@TheMETALICA40 That's why I said she could become more of a Hidden One through the DLCs because she agrees with their ideologies and practices, even if she didn't at the end of the base game.

They did the three city ones
Why couldn’t we have these for the main campaign, assassinating the likes of King Alfred, and others in the order (The maegesters), imagine having to sneakily make your way through Wessex and unique killing him, or like when we made our way to Vinland to kill Gorm, maybe for a black box, one of the unique kills would be dressing up like one of his commanders and meeting up with him, these missions would have greatly helped the main campaign, and made it feel like older ac
I love this mission type and it would have placed valhalla above origins for me if they had put this in the main campaign
Ubisoft had been rushing to release this game as fast as possible as everything they release sells. They also want to challange other rpgs like Witcher and I would say even darksouls even though their combat is shit. The fact that this type of mission is in a DLC and not in the main game shows that Ubisot is willing to milk those who want a return to form, which sadly is very unlikely.

I haven't played Valhalla yet but what are the missions like then? Isn't the whole point to assassinate your targets like it was in the previous games
@@Jonnell01well, you get like three story segments where you go to different cities and kill 3 members of the order of the ancients, one segment with Basim and the rest is just a Viking game with the occasional member of the order in its story

Yeah they are extremely similar to that style of game
AC orignally built its concept off Hthe Hitman games even the concept of social stealth was something Ubisoft emulated from the Hitman games
And i miss it all the time

Really hope Valhalla eventually does New Game Plus so we can redo these missions almost right after coming to England. I'm doing the DLC now but there are many abilities I don't have from the base game since I'm still early in the main story (Already 100% completed Wrath of the Druids). Would love to revisit these missions with all abilities unlocked.

I love the missions, i could use more options or replayability, but its was satisfying. The nap is small but Paris is huge the city feels dense for once and its bether build for parkour than the main game. I just have One question, is sigfrid an Assassin, or Forner Assassin why is he wearing the outfit
Yeah i agree, and i have absolutely no idea i am still playing through the story
It's just a reskin so he has a unique outfit he is not a Assassin
A shame I did not see this cutscene. I got afraid when Eivor said the disguise may not work, so I climbed up and air assassinated him.

@@AltairStealth they look amazing, specially when textures dont load past potatoe mode or the horse freezes midair to let the world load, because the game cant keep up with the horse speed. Since origins That happens to me

Yeah i wanted to explore all the scripted opportunities this time around. I made a manual save so i can do all the different approaches. There defo is a way to just sneak in through the rooftops unseen

Probably not. There isn’t much Assassin stuff in this game DESPITE THE FACT ASSASSIN’S CREED IS PART OF THE TITLE.
He has the ring finger, no hidden Blade, no good and nevermentions the Creed. He may have been a Fomer hidden One That didnt do the initiation, or may have gotten the clothes from someone, maybe his brother was One.
