My Best Kills of 2023 - Assassin's Creed

- 2023 has been what I consider to be the best year in Assassin's Creed in a very, very long time. After Valhalla's ultimate disappointment and a long hiatus from AC content, the fans were blessed with a rugged but soulful assassin's creed game that was fun, short, and ac-centric. Stealth as a playstyle has taken the limelight this year, taking its rightful place as the main way to play AC, thanks to both AC Mirage and AC Nexus.
I don't think this means that Assassin's Creed is in for a comeback, or that the days of dialogue choices and endless content are over. in fact, I know they are not. However, seeing Ubisoft give the fans something they've been wanting, and seeing the fans so openly and passionately praising the development studio for all the thoughtful work they have put in makes me feel very hopeful the right signals have been sent to the mother ship: People want assassin's.
I'm hoping that, while we will be getting a pretty heavy inflow of Assassin's Creed content over the next half-decade, the track record of quality ACs goes from 2 to 3, to 4, etc... until we can confidently say Ubisoft understand and respects the franchise again. AC Red is a game many are very nervous about, including myself, but I think there is enough reason to be at least cautiously optimistic that this could be an RPG that still feels like an Assassin's Creed game and takes the IP seriously.
Until then, I made a collection of my best kills from the year, pulling from almost all of the Assassin's Creed games. This year has again been very successful for the channel and I only have you to thank. I hope 2024 is even better.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is a 2023 action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series and the successor to 2020's Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

@AltairStealth Thanks man! It's a chaotic tutorial for sure, but I thought it was at least funny and people seem to find it helpful. Really cute of Ubisoft to announce the parkour update literally the morning after I released it, but it's still useful I think.

Also, I have an idea or two you might like to try out (I'd try it myself but I don't have Mirage yet ╥﹏╥)
At 7:03 you used an upgraded cherry bomb to set fire to a guard and send him flying to the side. Would it be possible to use a cherry bomb to close the gap between two guards, like focusing to a guard while freezing a knife in mid air that you threw at another guard, but instead it's focusing to one guard and then a normal assassination for the other? And would it also be possible to use that kind of cherry bomb to close the gap between a guard and Basim himself, so it acts as a very loud ropedart as the fire disables the AI's detection and also brings it close enough for a kill?
I shall try it out
Damn that's an amazing idea if it works. Imagine coming out of focus and the second guard comes flying over for an easy kill. Damn. That's good.

I personally try to use the animus glitch in Mirage in a way that makes it seem more realistic. Like in the second clip, instead of having Basim "teleport" all the way to the larger brute, I'd assassinate the guy right next to the guy you just killed with a throwing knife. It does have advantages when attempting to use it to get to the high ground, though.

Yo! That group kill was insanity!!!! In Assassin's Creed 3. 😂 Epic as ****, that was like 13 guards stun locked armed guards by a flurry of smoke grenades 😂😂😂😎😎😎 and then assassinated. Man that would be cool to pull off in DND... Assassin gloom stalker dagger build.... an Artifesser who makes smoke grenades your party can only see through or something...

Chain assassination in Mirage is not my favorite and I used it barely but it opens up so much possibilities for insane clips. And solely therefore it’s a fantastic addition to the game.
