This soap turned out so different than what I was expecting, and I love it. It looks like what I imagine Monet would produce if he painted a field of chamomile. 🥰
He, he, it was a bit of a vomit mass wasn't it, luckily it turned out well, I was surprised how well it worked with the shred, I thought I was going to get 'bad' layers and an 'aw bless' soap
I'm such a fan of your soap designs, Lisa. I legit have about 20 of your soaps so far; my husband is going to put up a shelf especially to display them. I can't bring myself to use them; they are works of art, and they smell absolutely gorgeous! Looking forward to the release of this one.
AW, thank you so much, that's so lovely. Ooh you should use at least some of them, I think it makes them extra special when you get to pick them up each day.
@@IDreamInSoap You are so talented, honestly, so thank you! Well, I've had them on the mantlepiece, but they've been packed away while we are renovating our living room. I love being able to see them and smell them every day, (they make the room smell amazing!); it sounds corny, but they really brighten my day! I may use them to wash my hands with one day, who knows? :)
Fabulous design there Lisa. I was waiting for the failure of your initial thumbnail, but was very pleasantly surprised. It is simple and beautiful. I know it was about using up existing shreds, but swear if you had used a mid blue rather than white... It would have been a real good copy of ‘water lilies’ by monet! Looking forward to the next one now! Have a great weekend.
@@IDreamInSoap Glad to be here Lisa. If you missed me, I recently put the NHS through their paces after 4 weeks of time I SHOULD have have been getting treatment. How great op recovery can include plenty of time for TH-cam!🤣
Oh it turned out so pretty!! I wasn't sure what to expect either, but it's fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing, love watching your soapy adventures. 😁
My OPW turn out different every time, which may be the reason I like doing them. It used to frustrate me but now I embrace those differences! Thank you for another detailed and educational video! I really like the idea of a confetti OPW.
They are fantastically beautiful. I love hoe the layers take on a bit of thr layer before and after and how the confetti ties them together even more. One of the best one pot wonders I have seen. Well done! Cheers 👍💕💕
Leave it to you to try something new and it turns out absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Maybe I'll start keeping my shreds to see if I can accomplish this technique. Thank you so much for sharing this Lisa!! xoxoxox
Such a fun and refreshingly spring-like soap. I didn't know what to expect but this is now a favorite. It's always nice to have different uses for shreds. Well done indeed!
As a retired nurse Lisa im afraid the pouring had me gagging 😂 sorry, but loved the sweet flowers on top i waited breath held to see the final outcome……and you didn’t let us down, you did it once again Lisa its really good.
He, he, I can see exactly what you mean, when you see it on the video it does look rather vomit like, luckily the soap didn't look like that in the end.
Wow, Lisa, beautiful colour combination and I love the flowers. It is quite elegant which is difficult to get at least for me when using shredded soap. What a great inspiration you are! Will try this next I have soap to use up. Thank you ❤️🙏
Thanks so much, ooh I have been watching 'The great pottery throwdown' and that looks so cool, but I just don't have time for anything else. I do enjoy making and decorating cakes though
It’s beautiful, thank you for the video. What do you use to makes the shreds? I like yours! Mine always comes out chunky, not tiny and curly, like yours.
Hi Page I use a cheese grater thing, I think in the US they call it a salad shooter. I use the smallest grate, chop my soap into small pieces before I put it in the grater and then don't put it down very hard, that tends to keep it quite 'dainty'
Hello, I was wondering about your soap cutter wire spacing. I have one of the same brand and I am looking for a different size but can't make my mind up 😅
Mines just the standard 2.5cm. I did at one point think of going a bit wider but I'm happy with it as it is, I do have my Custom Craft tools 'Caterpillar' which is brilliant for different sizes. If it was me I'd go for something like that if you were after flexibility
@I Dream In Soap Thank you! Mine is 2cm currently and I have bought your soap and enjoyed the size they were. I do have a single bar cutter but somehow I feel like the soaps are not cut right no matter what I do😅. It's in my head I am sure but my birthday is coming up and a new multi-bar cutter was one of the gifts I was considering for myself.
This soap turned out so different than what I was expecting, and I love it. It looks like what I imagine Monet would produce if he painted a field of chamomile. 🥰
Thank you so much Renee , that's very kind of you.
Finally- you make a soap and you made a least a small mess- I feel more human now. 😂😂😂
He, he, it was a bit of a vomit mass wasn't it, luckily it turned out well, I was surprised how well it worked with the shred, I thought I was going to get 'bad' layers and an 'aw bless' soap
Hello, cheeky goat, you have not posted a video for a while, glad to see you're still around
I know finally some mistake here . Otherwise usually your soaping is flawless,Lisa
@@CL-we8tn I was posting a video a week, and then I got super sick for 2 weeks 🥺

That turned out so good! I just love your happy girlish surprise when things turn out better than you thought they would!
Hi PaulaLyn Rider I'm so pleased you liked it and thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment for me ☺️
Ooohh! That came out lovely! Makes me think of spring and early summer and everything coming to life. Also, really 'Monet-ish' and romantic💛💚
Glad you liked it Inga.
I love the look like an ombré but with a impressionism art feel to it.
That's so kind of you to say NaturalM, thank you so much 😊
I do like how they turned out, the one pot wonder technique made the shreds look like brush strokes. Very nicely done! Love the chamomile embeds.
Thanks so much! 😊
It looked like oatmeal in color, but it came out beautiful! I am so glad you share your craft & talents with us!
He, he, ooh yes rather odd oatmeal.
When you started adding shred, I thought “ohhh noooo - too much!” Nope, it was the perfect amount. It came out so soft and pretty!
That's so kind of you to say kalieris, thank you so much 😊
Spring is in the air!! These turned out sooooo good. 💕

Lovely soap! I was quite sceptical when you started to grind the already shredded soap even more, but it turned out perfectly. Bravo❤️
Thanks so much, always lovely to see you. I sort of needed to blend it a bit more to try to get the batter to move a bit.
Leave it to you to try something new and it turns out absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Maybe I'll start keeping my shreds to see if I can accomplish this technique. Thank you so much for sharing this Lisa!! xoxoxox
Ooh yes, I hope you give it a go, I was very pleasantly surprised.

You just taught me what subtractive weighing is. WOWSERS! that completely blew my mind! (
😄
What a lovely surprise! If you were to do this technique with white shreds and black, purple, and dark blue micas, you could have a galaxy soap.
Ooh yes that would be cool
Another beautifully made soap! Thanks for sharing ❤️
