I had to rewatch to see ! Haha. but around 6:40 it looks like you shimmied the soap onto the mold, but the outcome was a very pretty possibly marbled look? I thought it was going to come out looking wispy. I do not like the soaps that have thin wispy lines 😅 but this was again very beautiful! I’ve also never poured or made my own soap so I don’t know that I should have had expectations at all. I think it would be cool if you made a video for beginners! Or a video showing what products and utensils one would need who is just starting out on a budget.
Yeah, I think doing a series could be cool, if that’s something you’re passionate about! For me as a viewer, it’s more helpful when I’m not just watching someone make soap, but the video is informative as well!
@@GothamSoapCompany I am fine; thank you for asking. I have been a Goat’s Milk Cold Process soapmaker for 40+ years. Love checking out others maker’s designs, etc.
@@sadiesoaps thank you. Yes it was a lot of fun making. The more colors the better where I’m concerned. Hey, question. You have any video ideas? Any videos you may enjoy seeing me create?
@@GothamSoapCompany that is a great question and right back at you. It’s so hard to come up with new ideas. Uncommon techniques or pours make me click the most. Also, when I see a bar in the thumbnail and don’t immediately know how it was done, I usually have to watch 😁
@@ctatro518 sure, cut back on your hard butters, if your doing a water discount cut back on that. Of course there are other factors, but let me know if this has been helpful.
I never would have thought to use a bar spoon to stir mica in small containers. Genius!
Oh yes. I use the bar spoon for swirls texturing the top of the soap you name it. It’s a great multi functional tool. Hope all is well with you!
This came out a lot better than I expected. Very pretty!
@@AbyS444 thanks. What did you expect?

@@AbyS444 ok cool I will work on that. Perhaps a series, what do you think?

That looks amazing! I would love to try that but I find that my batter sets up way too quickly for it to pour like that any suggestions?

I very much enjoyed that.
@@angelicao.5828 oh great, I’m glad.
