I would have picked it up for my own use because, in my old age, I live more like a monk cloistered at a hot computer listing on Ebay. Lol! Do they have female monks? Yes. Nuns. Jocelyn, you always seem to find so many treasures at these antique malls/shops. I wish we had more of those here in Hawaii. Theres always some unique pieces at surprisingly reasonable prices. Also, I think the Chinese version of origami is called "Zhezhi".
The lion bookends are interesting I wonder if they might be signed? There is a listing on eBay for $895 for a pair Nothing in sold for lions there is a pair of huskies that went over $300 Those are neat 🦁

I've been surprised recently by the sales increase of teapots at my booth (*that black flower power teapot would definitely sell!) and have been on the lookout for retro, funky, animal shapes etc than the redware, elegant or flowery ones as they're what's selling for me.

I’m not a fan of cats but I love that smiling cat. The colors are beautiful! I don’t like snakes, but those cases were cool. I did buy a small black light and small knife to cut tape 🤫 because of you.
Love the butterfly and with your fan base can’t imagine you won’t do Well, the bell was great But with so many imports made to look old I think you were wise not to get it,as always GOOD Luck on all the PCs. !!
I like the Cambridge Crown Tuscan shell bowl! I figure all those floral decorated patterns are hot now. The snakes on the Victorian glass were what sold me too!
Yes its nice when kids are little they will wear what ever, once they hit a certain age they want to fit in at school wear what they consider popular what others are wearing i learned that the hard way lol so i let my kids pick out what they liked to wear i think all kids go through that i did my three girls did now the grandkids lol.
I didn’t realize that Jocelyn picked up the same cat at the Goodwill, but her reaction gave me a good laugh! Apparently, the cat wasn’t as memorable for me as the skull dish she saw several places.

In the last booth, which was 40% off, I loved the set of pink milk glass. I hardly ever see it where I live. I know it isn’t Jocelyn’s thing but I would love to see it up close.

I’ve noticed in different videos that “SAP” appears on some of the price tags at antique stores. What does it stand for? I just learned that MCM on listings means Mid-Century Modern. I’m a little late to the antique and thrifting world. LOL.
I have a qyestion. When you buy something say at Black Rose of Hanover, and make a substantial profit on it. Why wouldn't the person with the booth know and sell it for more?

You're right! It is spelled Kanawha, but it's pronounced "ka-gnaw", two syllables silent g. It gives me a good laugh when folks say it like it sounds with the WHA! on the end! Every time I cross the Kanawha River going into Nitro, West Virginia I think of the pronunciation and smile. 🙂
You really need to bring a soft towel with you when you go shopping because I have horrible anxiety when you rattle your shopping cart around with all that glass and pottery. Yikes!
