    C200 = Best under rated camera ! I had two and now i search for another one at a good price ;)
    I have a Tilts rig with shoulder mount but I prefer the default setup..The ergonomics is perfect.

    Love this build. I’m looking a getting a C200 very soon. Great build!

    So glad the first disclaimer is that all of that crap besides the bigger battery, which you can get bigger bp batteries, is totally just to look cool. LOL. I cant stand rigs, but these videos help show the true uses of a camera.

    the C200 is such a great camera, IF you are shooting RAW. That said, I HATE the file sizes of that thing. lol. Love the build. Simple, but functional.

      Yeah man I've absolutely loved it so far. I use a 1TB Cfast so I can get clog 2 and canon cinema gamut and then I transcode them directly off the card into prores with DaVinci Resolve. Love it.
      Also your channel is so good. Miss you guys

      @@jakehayden998 thanks dude! Loving the stuff you’re pumping out too!
      See even with 1TB cards, it sucks down storage. Lol. And once you convert to ProRes, aren’t u basically losing the benefits of it being in RAW?

    • @jakehayden998
      @jakehayden998  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good point but I usually fix white balance and exposure if I need to during the transcode process so I still get the flexibility. The only thing that isn’t ideal is how expensive a TB Cfast is lol

      @@jakehayden998 I’m still holding out hope for a box style cine cam from Canon with a DGO sensor. That doesn’t happen I’ll probably grab a c300iii or another c70 🤷🏼‍♂️😂

      I agree. Those RAW files are huge. Did the C200 get a software update with Canon RAW Lite?

    Can someone confirm that you need the BP battery in the camera while powering with V mount/Gold Mount?
    If I take the battery out and try power off of external power only, nothing happens.
    So does the V-Mount charge (or keep) the cameras BP until the V-Mount runs out?

    Are you testing out the C200 from a rental company, or did you purchase a C200 for your needs?
    Before I knew about rigging cameras pre-pandemic, I was running around with the C200 with stock handles and batteries. It's cool to see what this camera looked like rigged up with more gadgets and gizmos.
    I miss having a side handle like the C200 when using my BMD Pocket cameras. This is part of the reason I want an Ursa camera body.

      I bought the C200 myself and it's my daily driver. I've absolutely loved it for the 9ish months I've been using it.
      Are you still using the C200 or did you switch to something else?

    • @DANAMIONLINE
      @DANAMIONLINE 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jakehayden998 Right on. What did you do with your Ursa Broadcast G2?
      The agency where I worked pre-pandemic owned the C100 and C200. After being laid off during the pandemic, I purchased a Pocket 6K and 6KPro. They're my current recording tools for nonprofit brand films and documentaries.

      @@DANAMIONLINE Blackmagic sent me the Broadcast G2 so I could make a review video, unfortunately only got to keep it for about a month.
      Sorry to hear about those layoffs, but it sounds like you're still out there shooting films, so hats off to you. How are you liking the 6Ks?

    • @DANAMIONLINE

      @@jakehayden998 😇 Overall, the P6K and Pro work for me. My only issue with the cameras relates to personal preference - such as camera rigging.
      The driving reason I want a Ursa is for less rigging.
      The pocket cameras can be rigged, but I argue they aren't designed for that. I hate how crowded I/O port space becomes when using them.

      100% my favorite thing about the URSA Broadcast G2. I really hate how crowded and messy my rigs can get too. Do you use external monitors with the pockets or just used the built in one?

    Hi Jake. I fellow double C200 shooter here. Was the HDMI external monitor just plug and play? In my camera, theres is a lot of HDMI applications that doesn't work. A few do, but with most of them the camera won't send out any signal, it seems. I got a feelworld monitor, that works fine, but another one doesn't, and in general i can't get a signal to a HDMI computer monitor or TV for external viewing. The secret seems to lying in the settings of the HDMI output, but i think i have tried everything, but with no solution. Did your monitor just work the first time, og did you have fiddle around with the settings?

    • @jakehayden998
      @jakehayden998  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's really bizarre. Mine just worked as soon as I plugged it in. Are you using the same HDMI cord every time?

      @@jakehayden998 Yeah and it's the same on both my C200's. I have two Feelworld monitors, and one is working and the other one is not. You can also see some sort the issue here: th-cam.com/video/7I_Ej5Mnu1Y/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=LifeofBen
