Ive litterly been single forever now because I get so much anxiety when starting a new relationship and I end up making up so many excuses for why we can't hang out because it's too scary for me. Im sure it comes across as being sneaky or whatever else. I don't even try for that reason anymore.

I'm hoping someday I'll find someone who is like me or atleast understands or I'll just get over the anxiety. I didn't really mention that the anxiety in new relationships is just way too overwhelming for me and Its not a feeling I like to have for a long period of time. I want to be in a relationship but not when I feel that way the entire time. It's not enjoyable at all. But at the same time it sucks and is very lonely. Even as they are walking away on a windy beach, we heard every word perfectly. They are small mic’d. If they weren’t we’d get subtitles of what they are saying instead crystal clear conversations with no loss of volume when they turn their backs on the cameras. No background activity or noises EVER affect the vocal clarity of any conversation. Come on now!

I've heard that they contact all of the people involved before hand to go through image consent documents and all that, and it makes sense. The catfish isn't "baited" how the Chris Hansen show was for example. I have worked with show production in the past and there is no way you would be put on a tv show without going through a contact... If they did that, Catfish the TV show would have a big big legal problem. So yeah, the show is "kinda" scripted in the way that the production team probably already knows who the Catfish is, but maybe the 'Catfished' doesn't
I think being embarrassed is the least they should be feeling. I know its all just for entertainment, but the more I see of this show, the more Im slightly sickened by how little comeback these people ever seem to get...usually they give the impression they'll just move onto their next victim. There's no accountability for what theyve done, no appreciation of what theyve actually done to someone's confidence, to their future relationships, to trust their own judgement. It's a really poisonous thing to do...it would help if a lot of people actually left their houses and went out into the world now & again, stop kidding themselves they're in a 'relationship' with someone theyve never laid eyes on.
