I have bought many and they are great. The trigger hanger has been improved to keep "experts" from messing them up when they don't fully understand what it's doing. They make this action unbelievably smooth and it feeds like greased butter.
You can absolutely use pre-fit barrels for it. I believe that both Preferred Barrels and Patriot Valley Arms supply them. The conical breech has nothing to do with the pre-fit-ability of a barrel. Also, cartridges having case heads larger that 12.7mm (0.5 inches) such as 300 Win Mags and 338 Lapua do not require the conical breech.
