Late finding this video, but just wanted to thank you for your kind and supportive words, along with the helpful tips. The reminder that it's okay to stop and you're not a failure is one of the most inspiring things to hear when you want to keep going.
Pregnant with second child and still breastfeeding 19.5 month old child. Such a great summary of aspects of breastfeeding. Trying to find a balance to keep proper nutrition- like you mentioned it feels like it uses up your energy. It feels like it has been worth the effort to breastfeed but I understand everyone's situation is different. Thank you for the tips!
Pregnant with my first and aside from the birth part, I’m terrified of breastfeeding. I might end up just pumping because I know how precious breast milk is.
That’s so normal to feel nervous. One option would be to get a lactation consultant you trust to help you try out breastfeeding. And if it still makes you uncomfortable you could switch to pumping only. But of course, you should ultimately do what you feel is right for you and your baby ♥️
I also was nervous when I first breastfeed my child I thought how would it go but it was tough though he would bite me but my second child was a cakewalk he did not bite me so it was both sweet and bitter for me
