    Nice video.
    My guess, to why CZ omitted the locking lugs inside the slide, is that they wanted to
    1. distance themselves from making "just another 1911" (CZ always took pride in doing their own thing), and
    2. simplify the design for ease/less cost of manufacturing (also keeping the price for the customer down), since the two locking lugs aren't necessary, if you already have that huge chamber to lock the slide against.

      I'd prefer something like a CZ SP-01 Tactical that I could put a weapon light on.

    Col. Jeff Cooper himself said that it was a shame that a pistol so good as the CZ-75 was made by communists and not in America. In your opinion, is the CZ-97 less communist than the 75?

      If you want to say by virtue of it using an American cartridge as opposed to a German one, I suppose. Otherwise I don't think so.

      CZs are made in the Czech Republic, which was established as a parliamentary democracy in 1993. The Czechs are not communists and make some really good guns.
