I have a question for you I have a pioneer CLD S201 but no discs will spin in it I took the top off and checked the belts they are perfectly fine everything is it just won’t spin a disc
I have a Pioneer DVL-91 and was wondering if I can get your assistant with it. I finally took a look at it and was able to get the doors open and it plays a dvd. The issue Im having is when the laser retracks it get stuck before it can make it to the home position to rotate. I have to apply pressure for it to make the track transition. Are you able to take a look at it?
I tinkered with it some more and got the laser to move to the switching position without it grinding. The only thing I am experiencing is a grinding when I switch chapters. Are there replacement gears for the laser?
@@tristanevans3057 Try e-bay maybe? What makes you believe that it is broken gears? If it can move but gets stuck, gears are not bad. Never seen bad gears, but broken m-holders I have seen a lot. And sometimes bendt plastic rails.
@Magnus.Skovrand I think I just needed to run it for a while. I'm not hearing the sound as much anymore when I change chapters. I bought this player in 2018 and I'm just glad that it's functioning right now.

It can be so many things, and therefore I will need the player on my work bench to diagnose.
