During episode nine of R U NEXT ? the remaining 12 trainees were divided into two teams, SCRUM and PRIDE, with Team SCRUM winning the performance round, Chanelle ranked eleventh , while Jihyun ranked twelth. Chanelle, a huge fan favorite due to her skills and pre-debut activities was also eliminated alongside Jihyun. Fans were especially hurt to see her go, considering her huge popularity abroad . Her elimination brought about many emotions, ranging from anger fans accused hybe and judges for being unfair . They are now trending hashtags like " bring her back " " Hybe is unfair " and even planning to send protest trucks . Do you guys feel the same !?

jeemin is now in i land 2 and she probably may make a debut because as far as I've seen the first ep, the girls vocals are really bad. Jeemin was a bit nervous which caused her voice to stumble and all but atleast it was stable and bearable. There were more contestants who sang great but most of sounded like they just trained for a month or two.
What i want to say is, I think jeemin may debut this time with other contestants who were on a different survival show before iland 2 as they're experienced of what survival shows actually are and how the statistics work

Fifty fifty’s company posted some hints of one of the unrevealed member and it said that they are American korean and they were a popular contestant in a survival show. So it might be her that’s gonna debut and her brother said that she is gonna debut so who knows.
These survival shows are just a way of showing that their trainees are talented. ILL'IT members were already chosen, it was just a shock that the trainees they didn't pick as members outperformed their original line-up. Regardless, it'a ruse to pull people in and give trainees exposure before debut. The drama and the storylines MIGHT BE or ARE NOT scripted...
Most of these survival shows only pick "visuals" over talent anyways im not surprised

I agree. Chanelle is my favorite through the first half and she's no doubt an all rounder. But she had a taste of being a "real idol" during color mission and original song which is not to get to choose whatever she wants and she broke down. Which is sad to see but it's a valid reason why she got eliminated. She's not mentally ready yet.

It would be good if they can debut another group with some of the popular trainees who didn’t make it. They will fit a different concept too than the ones who did, so it would be cool to have 2 groups
I think Chanelle's problem was that she wore her emotions on her sleeve. When she was angry or annoyed you could easily tell. That is not typical idol behavior. Idols are expected to remain positive and internalize their negative emotions. One episode in particular, I remember her getting verbally loud and frustrated. I was a fan of hers, but that was a huge turn off and red flag. Companies want idols who can control their tempers and emotions publicly at least until their career is solid.

all the show was unfair, i don't think that they considered international votes as well as they said. never ever.
At this point, I don’t know why people get surprised when we see the survival programs already shows really creating groups and really talented people don’t get picked or chosen. Like people do you understand that this is like already predetermined, right? Like there is a reason why M-net for years has always portrayed there competitions as more of a weird reality program that just happened to have voting in created groups and it’s also on the reasons why a quite a lot of fans were on surprised when they found out that the voting’s rig because they know who they want for these groups.
There are seven things that companies do before they do this one. They already have a lineup for who they want to give you the girls who they know are going to draw an attention and have that a fact or whether it’s they’re pretty sometimes it’s literally just their age this person significantly youngest person significantly older people are going to want to see how their dynamic works for the rest of the group. Let’s throw them in. Yes they have talent but also let’s be real and honest they could use more training, especially when they’re younger like it’s not gonna hurt to sit there and like hold back some of these idols at the view until they’re like 16 or 17 matter of fact, it probably do a whole wonder of help because they will be even more of a powerhouse, giving them those actually 2 to 3 years to train.
I don’t know how they go about creating groups in the west, but there’s also this unspoken of tradition have it been a lot of companies do that people in Asia aware of which is talking to some kind of spiritual us I’m talking those people who sit and reach you or us they do palm readings that do tarot card readings they go to those people to be like OK this is the group we’re trying to make this is the lineup and see if they are energetically aligned with each other and if they would genuinely make a good group What does group work with this group not work could we or should we change up people here and they do it. Because wall religion isn’t necessarily a huge thing. Spirituality is in most Asian countries, and they do sit there and talk to these people to create groups, which is another reason why I feel like quite a lot of fans who are useless or know for a fact like these groups are predetermined they get people who they know energetically align together. Also, they’re most likely to give them the best results but also you know they have that extra little something to capture the attention of the general public eye.
It’s also the same one members leave groups it’s like not super surprising most of the time sometimes it is but there’s a lot of times when there be a member where there’s no scandal there’s no like unfair treatment. It’ll legitimately just like out of the blue the companies just like y’all. This artist decided that they wanted to part ways with us For whatever reason blah blah blah hope them wish them the best and one of the reasons why they’re able to just do that especially when it’s such a clean break is because the company even knows that they wouldn’t have worked in that group, but having someone in that group leave the group at some point is oso going to try attention to the group people are gonna pay attention to them. They’re going to garnish, more fans and more people looking at them because now they’re gonna be like how is it gonna work out now that they no longer have that other member company was already prepared for it they already knew they talked to the spiritual ask people they sat there and genuinely looked at it from a business point of you too and they were like yeah there’s no way in hell that this person is going to work in this group, but we’re gonna throw them in there anyway because we know that it’ll take probably about a year maybe two maybe last before they leave and then I’ll get people talking about this group and then we can work them to their best potential

I think it was rigged from the start 🤷♀️. Hybe and Belift lab are sneaky. They already chose who they wanted to be in the group from the begging and the concept. The show was just to bring attention to the group. They lost a lot of actual talented gems.

They're not expelled, they just didn't make this particular debut. Don't overreact and ruin her chances for the next debut. When making a group it also comes down to who's talent mesh well within the group.
The whole show was rigged. They just wanted the visual trainees not the ones with actual talent. Chanelle was my fav and I was so devastated when I found out she was eliminated. Girly had the pure talent and skills of a true talented skilled person. Instead, they chose Wonhee, Moka, Yunah, Minju, and Iroha. Tbh, it would’ve been sm better if Chanelle made the final rankings. The group would’ve been more successful with Chanelle cuz of her talent. The judges were so biased Chanelle was doing better than half the trainees but the judges always chose Wonhee. Esp in that one episode where Wonhee pressured Chanelle to do the hard parts when Chanelle had breathing problems. Girl could’ve passed out on stage but instead she had a voice crack ( luckily). The judges were also a part of this because, they were also forcing Chanelle to do the hard lines bc Wonhee didn’t have the best stable live vocals. And guess what? Wonhee made it in the final lineup when she lip- synced for many of her performances during RUNEXT. I feel like Illit would’ve been more successful if they had chosen the really talented trainees and not just the visual ones.
Its not just Chanelle. Jiwoo was also so talented. Chanelle and Jiwoo was way more talented than most of the members in the debut team. The vote was highly biased and unfair. But i think otger companies will reach out to them as they have high potential and they literally so talented

I think the filming was done before the broadcast and it was not foreseen that Chanelle would become so popular. When the episode in which she was eliminated aired, they couldn't do anything because she was already gone.
