Kendall's expressions have always been great, but she took them at another level. And not only that, her movements felt more precise and enojoyable to watch. The same thing with her vocals, she always sounded good, but she's reaching higher levels. She's really becoming an all-rounder, and an amazing performer.

Kaylee surprised me this evening. It is 6 months since LA to Seoul and she looks like she has matured some which will be the key to her debating. So much of this show parallels NIZI project. When Nizi got to Seoul they announced that Suzi had dropped for her own reasons, and here we have Melissa dropping. I also remember Mako doing the song and dance that Kendall performed.
this debut show is honesty sm better than any others i’ve watched. glad they want to focus on things like personality on and off camera, how much of team player they are. basically just how true to themselves and others they are. i’ve really enjoyed watching this show so far
i’m not particularly rooting for anyone as a lot of them are super talented for their ages and it would only continue to grow from here on out. i’ll be happy for any of them to debut 🤗
exactly, comepared to other survival shows, were it's so rigged, judges are extremely biased, rude, camera editing making certain members appear bad, etc. this was so raw and real.

Welcome to the real world my friend. In any competition there is a winner and loser. And all other contestants have gathered at least 3 stones while Mishca only has two stones at the end. Just like the Nizi project, the contestants with 4 stones and 3 stones (runner up) get to go to the next round. What's the point of having this competition or qualification if everyone get the pass?

Kendall honestly...wasn't my favourite in the bootcamp. BUT THIS?? THIS IS INCREDIBLE. You can really see her improvement over these 6 months, her vocals, her dance, HER FACIALS AND VISUALS LIKE OH MY GOD SHE'S PERFECTTTT. Nothing but praise that was pure artist level. Wow.

I had the same reaction as JYP when Kendall was done. Holy moly. Invested in Kendall at auditions and this just paid out huge dividends. That was a true 11/10 performance. I thought Kaylee did well also but someone teach her to meditate and maybe she will be able to let go enough to meet what JYP is talking about.
I have a theory, the intro where some girls sing "I wanna see the world, does the world wanna see me" I can really hear the girls' voice. I can hear Camilla's voice, kaylee, kendall. It means they have already debuted! Pay close attention Im sure you will hear the girls' voice. All of this is recorded and the LA bootcamp began in April! God, this makes so much sense now.
They havent exactly "debuted". Yeah the group is finalized and stuff meaning theyre working on making songs. The videos we're seeing happened many months ago
I gotta say, Kendall and Yuna have the same vibe when performing. They might not be precise but the way the can captive and capture the audience is their spark. Facial expressions and freedom when dancing, are examples.

I think so too. They have a very similar charm. But in this episode we were able to see something different from them. I believe they are starting to be more distinct. Kendall has a more elegant vibe, whereas Yuna is more cute with the cat ears hairstyle. On the other hand it could just be this particular performance... I suppose time will tell!

ok this is the first time Kendall impresses me. I was bitter for her going 5th in the last ranking, thinking other contestants deserved her spot, but now I'm not that mad anymore. I can see her going far. I like her 24 Hours performance. I can see her growth and I start to expect a lot of great things from her.

Kendal performed like a real k-pop artist. She overcame weak point in vocals. It was an amazing performance. My favorite Kaylee turned like a girl from a baby. But she looked a little bit nervous than bootcamp. Go Kaylee.

Since the regional auditions there are 2 girls I had no doubt they will make it: Gina and Kendall. Just standing, smiling and talking you are drawn to them, they have the k-pop vibe all over them. Remember, idols are not just artists, they are also entertainers. And look what Kendall just did in this episode. I got the feeling as if JYP wanted to remind her to be humble because she knows how good she is.
It’s good since you can be kinda sure they aren’t complete assholes off camera (you never know). 3 Months are a long time so if there’s bad attitude we don’t know about they would find out at this point which is very good of them to do
JYP's orientation and especially his explanations on the three key attitudes were so note-worthy not just for artists but to be a good human being in general👏🏻

Stage Presence- Many people always say, if you have the gestures, the look, the expression, the physical body movements- they all work in unison to draw the audience in. Then you have a captive audience. JYP and the rest of us who watched Kendall were a captive audience. Kaylee was more technical but Kendall had the advantage of stage presense. The moment she posed and rehearsed in front of a mirror or camera, she knew she commanded your attention. She knows how to draw you in- then taking off her shoes was just the tip of the iceberg.
this was last year, she’s probably 14 now but lots of people in that age group are fully capable of singing as well as kaylee. THO YEA HER VOCALS ARE LIKE ON POINT

I noticed that too. Her dancing was still awkward during the LA boot camp. But right now it's so nice to see. The ballet element is so strong. The improvement us crazy. The first performance by Kendall that really wowed me. I had goosebumps.
Personality still dry af and no sense of humor whatsoeverrrr. But she's learning to cheer others on more now and enjoy others' performance. The yay and clapping helps her get team work points. She's good at facial expressions, and so it shows when she looks bored. Lol

well. The next Korean girl group at JYP will not be possible until four years from now, so enduring four years as a trainee is harsh. If your parents live in Korea, you can tolerate it, but it is a very difficult process to live as a trainee alone in Korea after leaving your parents in the United States. So it is best to debut this time.

Can’t believe how much Kendall had improved in such a short amount of time, if I have to be honest I didn’t really have very high expectations but when she started performing it was mind blowing how good she really is!
Kendall was way better than I expected. The hype really wasn’t there before but she’s actually improving so much and it feels like she actually deserves those rankings Jyp gave her before. Even tho she had facials they were all pretty similar even tho they were strong and she still looks a bit awkward dancing certain parts but if everyone improves as much as she did they’re all gonna debut!! JYP was right when he said he didn’t think of sunmi at all and that her performance quality was really good so the technical things I just mentioned were for the most part covered up/ignored.

I'm glad JYP is putting so much weight into attitude and character. A lot of idols who didn't grow up in Asia struggle with the lifestyle and cultural differences and expectations that come with being an idol. I know Jae of Day6 specifically talked about this once. I hope the girls can all adept well.
I never totally understood JYP's hype for Kendall, but she SLAYED that. Completely changed my opinion of her. It's clear how much her voice has improved, and I was shocked by how natural she looked dancing barefoot (which can be so easy to look awkward doing without great lines).
Visuals is what explains it, which is kind of unfair to other contestants to be honest but then she improved her skills a bit so it’s fine in the end, kinda gave her a headstart thanks to her conventional beauty by korean standards I think

I was definitely in that boat I compared her a lot to Ayaka from nizi project who was also favored by JYP, but unlike Ayaka, Kendall showed MASSIVE improvement and star power. I've definitely been turned lolll
People are too soon to judge, forgetting that they weren't trainees yet, that's why some skill still not polished very well yet. Plus, what I analyze from all the contestants, everyone show great dedication, like doing any kind of performance or even gymnastic in a very long time. So, their criteria are different, just like what JYP said that the agency seeking the potential trainees who will become long term artist, yet some people thinking it is like other survival show that showing already trainees to debut and care only about popularity.
I remember thinking that she seemed like the kind of person who is too aware of their own talents and, as a result, had a "Holier Than Thou" attitude about her. I'm happy to say that this no longer seems to be the case! She's fast becoming my favourite.
Christina enjoying the food is such a mood, shes so cute. Kaylee's performance was really good but she looks tired I hope she rests well. Kendall's performance really blew me away, I didn't think that song would suit her but she proved me wrong. Her acting skills are really amazing. I can't wait to see everyone's performances! 🤗

this debut show is honesty sm better than any others i’ve watched. glad they want to focus on things like personality on and off camera, how much of team player they are. basically just how true to themselves and others they are. i’ve really enjoyed watching this show so far

I had the same reaction as JYP when Kendall was done. Holy moly. Invested in Kendall at auditions and this just paid out huge dividends. That was a true 11/10 performance. I think so too. They have a very similar charm. But in this episode we were able to see something different from them. I believe they are starting to be more distinct. Stage Presence- Many people always say, if you have the gestures, the look, the expression, the physical body movements- they all work in unison to draw the audience in. Then you have a captive audience. JYP and the rest of us who watched Kendall were a captive audience. Kaylee was more technical but Kendall had the advantage of stage presense. The moment she posed and rehearsed in front of a mirror or camera, she knew she commanded your attention. She knows how to draw you in- then taking off her shoes was just the tip of the iceberg.

I honestly see kaylee debuting in the future and becoming an idol, i feel like jyp should save her to put her in a korean group
well. The next Korean girl group at JYP will not be possible until four years from now, so enduring four years as a trainee is harsh. If your parents live in Korea, you can tolerate it, but it is a very difficult process to live as a trainee alone in Korea after leaving your parents in the United States. So it is best to debut this time.

This show is amazing, truly. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with it. My heart is shattered that Melissa had to withdraw but I hope she’s doing well. She has so much potential.

@@alsoleve99 So true I felt so uncomfortable that they let Kendall do 24hrs. That song is way to sexy for a minor to do she did it very well but the song is too mature for her to do. I died a little bit when she was telling JYP that she focused on the expressions.

Love it when Kendall goes full voice. Her voice is very soft, but when she did 24 hours. I love her voice tone more when it's a bit deeper/heavier than a light voice.
Kendall’s performance was just INCREDIBLE she clearly deserves to become an idol, her facial expression, her dancing, her voice, everything is on point. I hope she will go far.

Can’t believe how much Kendall had improved in such a short amount of time, if I have to be honest I didn’t really have very high expectations but when she started performing it was mind blowing how good she really is!
Kendall was way better than I expected. The hype really wasn’t there before but she’s actually improving so much and it feels like she actually deserves those rankings Jyp gave her before. Even tho she had facials they were all pretty similar even tho they were strong and she still looks a bit awkward dancing certain parts but if everyone improves as much as she did they’re all gonna debut!! JYP was right when he said he didn’t think of sunmi at all and that her performance quality was really good so the technical things I just mentioned were for the most part covered up/ignored.
I think Kendall's whole image changed in this episode and it really showed her versatility ♥

I'm glad JYP is putting so much weight into attitude and character. A lot of idols who didn't grow up in Asia struggle with the lifestyle and cultural differences and expectations that come with being an idol. I know Jae of Day6 specifically talked about this once. I hope the girls can all adept well.
Honestly, Kendall improved so much and Kaylee really put a smile on my face, they both slayed more than the word slay.

I never totally understood JYP's hype for Kendall, but she SLAYED that. Completely changed my opinion of her. It's clear how much her voice has improved, and I was shocked by how natural she looked dancing barefoot (which can be so easy to look awkward doing without great lines).
Visuals is what explains it, which is kind of unfair to other contestants to be honest but then she improved her skills a bit so it’s fine in the end, kinda gave her a headstart thanks to her conventional beauty by korean standards I think

@@happypeeingdoyoung She definitely slayed that performance it was perfect but from the beginning to the bootcamp phase before she got selected in the final 10 she wasn't that good but somehow still ranked fine comparing to other girls, she proved her worth let's just say that but there's no denying that she was favoured a bit
she was already a lyrical dancer before all this so she actually performed with her strongest points

Before, I saw many people say Kendall is too overrated or JYP has a favoritism for Kendall but now people recognize Kendall's potential.

I was definitely in that boat I compared her a lot to Ayaka from nizi project who was also favored by JYP, but unlike Ayaka, Kendall showed MASSIVE improvement and star power. I've definitely been turned lolll
People are too soon to judge, forgetting that they weren't trainees yet, that's why some skill still not polished very well yet. Plus, what I analyze from all the contestants, everyone show great dedication, like doing any kind of performance or even gymnastic in a very long time. So, their criteria are different, just like what JYP said that the agency seeking the potential trainees who will become long term artist, yet some people thinking it is like other survival show that showing already trainees to debut and care only about popularity.
I remember thinking that she seemed like the kind of person who is too aware of their own talents and, as a result, had a "Holier Than Thou" attitude about her. I'm happy to say that this no longer seems to be the case!
She's fast becoming my favourite.

Christina enjoying the food is such a mood, shes so cute. Kaylee's performance was really good but she looks tired I hope she rests well. Kendall's performance really blew me away, I didn't think that song would suit her but she proved me wrong. Her acting skills are really amazing. I can't wait to see everyone's performances! 🤗
