Thanks so much! I wanted to learn how to use the camera well, and had been tinkering with it, but now I understand the features a lot better! I love the variety of options, but still feel like it doesn't perform as well as a regular camera in some cases. I tend to like doing night or long exposure type modes. Phone cameras really struggle with this. The video on high settings is pretty incredibly crisp- I think it really shines here! It is difficult to have a stable shot though since that feature isn't available on higher video settings. I'm sure that's why people invest in the gyro camera holders. The other kinda weird bit about high quality video is it cuts off in 4GB segments, which happens at about 8min. So you have to re-piece that footage together. I think I'm going to have to find some better video editing software, because you are limited by the software's export settings for final video quality if you have to edit it.
@@TechGuyCharlie we enjoy taking pictures. Without the camera on smartphones. We would still be using flip phones or brick phones. Our phones camera really is our main camera. Sadly to say no DSLR's and our only pocket camera is a old Canon elf powershot 8mp camera. So I really appreciated your time and work on this video. We still have the S5 phones. I like it because we can print larger images with lots of detail at 16mp. So looking new phones being 12mp. I'm doing a lot of research. So again, I really had to commend your work.

The flatness of the HDR10 video on other non HDR screens looks a lot more professional, natural, and cinema like. You have to remember that HDR video is kinda like the "RAW" capture from the Pro Mode. It looks a lot less appealing, but has tons and tons of detail, and looks amazing if edited properly.

At approximately 32.25 in the video you talked about the setting to not flip selfies. I recorded videos in this mode and they did get flipped. Do you know of a fix for this?

I haven't tried a 512 GB card, but right now I've got a 400GB SanDisk micro SD and it works great, could you please tell me what brand micro SD you've got? plenty of counterfeit 500GB cards on the market these days. Also, since I've made this video there have been some major updates to this phone, you might want to check my newer videos on the S10+

Share mode for HDR 10+ isn't perfect enough, some times dark for 1fps. Only software can convert HDR 10+ to SDR on phone is Kine master, but need pay. Without HDR 10+, S10 record normal videos dark places too dark, bright too bright. So now important thing is find right software to do this. Let's find it please.
My friend posted a photo that he said only using mobile. That photo only has 2 tones. Gradient black and white and gradient blue to white. So for the soil and everything in the same colour, he changed it into blue in varying gradient, and everything else black to white in varying gradient. Can you please give a hint how he could possibly do that? Thanks

Sadly, while video recording you cant switch between the front and rear camera.

Hey Shan, The option to record videos in 'Pro' or 'manual' mode no longer exists, its not there even on Galaxy S9 and the Note 9 running Android Pie.
