Good content and worth following. The intense labor just to harvest the salt so that we can enjoy it in our food. Now I can appecitecit more. It is similar to rice farming. The heat the farmer's endure almost everyday to produce the rice we enjoy everyday on our table.
Aloha Haley, great video! This reminds me of my island home on the island of Kauai where there are salt beds that are hand built and the process is even more tedious. Only a handful of Native Hawaiian families have been given the right to make salt. What an awesome experience!
OK im exhausted just watching lol. Between the bending and getting up the heat blaring off the top of your head shriveling on the skin from the salt, makes this to be a worthy respect of the the one seasoning i cant have. Keep it up Hailey !! Shout out from USA. We use cooking pans in the Philippines and we produce salt as fine as sugar. The problem is that it's environmental unfriendly because of smoke coming out from cooking and cutting trees for fuel.
