- Aus persönlichen und beruflichen Gründen kann ich dieses Wochenende nur ein kleines Werk online stellen. Es handelt sich wie letzte Woche auch schon um eine weitere barocke Bearbeitung des Chorals "Nun danket alle Gott".
Diese #Choralbearbeitung von Georg Friedrich #Kaufmann ist rein #manualiter - also ohne Pedal - gesetzt und ich habe mich für eine sehr sanfte Registrierung mit lediglich 2 Registern entschieden: Einem 8' #Gedackt und einer 2' #Waldflöte. Mit so einer sanften Registrierung kommt aber ein anderer Aspekt gut zur Geltung: Die wirklich extrem realistische digitale Simulation einer echten Pfeifenorgel. Ich empfehle das Hören mit entweder hochqualitativen Boxen oder Kopfhörern, um subtile Details wie Mikroverstimmungen oder das Anspucken der Pfeifen wahrzunehmen.
Seit Anfang des Jahres habe ich auch unzählige Stunden investiert, die Orgel im Detail zu intonieren. Einzelne Register habe ich sanfter intoniert, andere knackiger. Bei wieder anderen hatte ich bei bestimmten Tönen unschöne Resonanzen im Raum, die ich mit viel Feinarbeit an der Intonation behoben habe.

Due to personal and professional reasons I can only put one small work online this weekend. It is like last week another baroque arrangement of the chorale "Nun danket alle Gott".
This #choral arrangement by Georg Friedrich #Kaufmann is set purely #manualiter - that means without pedal - and I decided for a very gentle registration with only 2 stops: An 8' #Gedackt and a 2' #Waldflöte. With such a gentle registration, however, another aspect comes into its own well: the indeed extremely realistic digital simulation of a real pipe organ. I recommend listening with either high quality speakers or headphones to pick up subtle details like micro detuning or the spitting of the pipes.
Since the beginning of the year, I have also invested countless hours in voicing the organ in detail. I have voiced individual stops more softly, others more crisply. In still others, I had unsightly resonances in the room on certain notes, which I fixed with a considerable amount of fine-tuning of the voicing.
