Welcome to Sabah Borneo..I am a sabahan from the city of kota kinabalu..thank you for your good impression of Kota Kinabalu n sabah in particular..Enjoy your trip n visit to this lovely n hospitable locals..Hopefully You will have good everlasting memories of sabah..cheers
Well, I have to admit, I've never heard of Kota Kinabalu. Definitely will be looking up more info about this great looking place. And that seafood at the waterfront night market looked amazing :)
Kota Kinabalu is definitely not on the main tourist route. Unless heading to Borneo to see wildlife then most people would not go. The seafood was amazing. Thanks for watching!
Im sorry that u didnt know about kota kinabalu. This is on the blame of our malaysian government as they never wanted to promote sabah and sarawak state bcus they look down on us for no reason until the people from peninsular said we are poor and live on trees. They said is a joke but not a bad joke that we wanted. So many west malaysians have very bad habits. They treat foreigners kindly except sabah and sarawak in the borneo island

I swear every video about Malaysia has been released in the past 6 months. Lol. It's like all of a sudden TH-camrs got sick of Bali and Thailand and realize there were other options. I just hope that it doesn't become over visited
We haven’t been to Bali, but keep coming back to Malaysia. I suspect a lot of people come to Malaysia for the free 90 day visa. We can’t get enough of the place.
Yes i agree with your comments..the Vibes here is totally different from West Malaysia..As the Proverd says..'Once you set foot on Borneo island Sabah/ Sarawak..It will be hard for you to leave back home..😀
Unfortunately some beaches in the east coast are polluted by sea trash. Can be from anywhere, locally there are likely from sea gypsies living on the water villages. These are stateless people. The bajau laut. No waste management there of course.
This video would have been ideal to show our travel scared grandchildren, to reassure them K.K. is a great and safe place to visit. But that was made impossible by the terrible pop up message about the Dog Meat trade in Indonesia. That would have terrified them. Of course the message is important and we support the total abolition of the Dog Meat trade, but this pop-up was totally disgusting and ruined the video experience and made it useless to reassure nervous children about the joys of Asia. Really stupid marketing in my opinion.
@@Farawaynow Not in your video!! Not at all, of course not, it was an advert that pops up half way through. Very graphic and nothing to do with Malaysia. If you can get it blocked that would be great. My wife is from K.K. and I know Malaysia as a great place in all ways.

I was in Sabah last year staying at KK, then went to Sandakan, Mabul Island, Semporna and Sipadan Island - absolutely amazing
It’s an incredible part of the world. We are planning on going back to Borneo to more of the island.
Beautiful sunset and delicious looking food!
Borneo is truly amazing and beautiful!
After santorini Greece, this could be the best sunset.

Popular with korean / japanese tourists. Europeans go there to hike mount kinabalu the 3rd highest island peak in the world. And watch orangutans.

Hi, Thank you for sharing your video.
Can someone tell me if tap water in kota kinabalu is safe to drink? or people buy bottled water?
Do not drink the tap water. Our hotel had a water dispenser in the lobby.
wow welcome to Sabah Malaysia 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much ☺️
Happy Belated B'day!
Thank you so much, it was a great day!

Hi from k.k..
Hello, thank you for watching!
Miss kk
Me too, especially the warm weather and delicious food.
The price is about right. It would be around 2-3x in Peninsular Malaysia
Thank you for this. I have been wondering. The quality was very good.

i think they forgot your rice orders haha usually its the first thing served

Unfortunately it seems to be all over SE Asia and out in the sea. I think a lot comes down the Mekong.
