Second comment lol The sound on this one sounds like a track from Disarm the Descent with the instrument mix and vibe of some of their earlier albums ( AOJB or TEOHA). For a while bass was present in their mixes but Adam had said in an interview he stopped mixing bass with so much midrange. It sounds like he's walked that back lol.
The vocals actually sort of carry the song, and I think that's deliberate from Adam. The reason I think his voice sounds better is firstly that he has worked on his craft but also he understands himself a lot more, his strengths and weaknesses, also that the guitars and drums especially are not so overpowering. It's a signature sound with a little more finesse, which I appreciate. The lyrics don't get enough praise. Jesse is an amazing writer. Truly one of the best. He has such a poetic mind and not forcefully so. How he mixes that in metal is both leaves me in owe and soothes me, a lot of the times even inspires me.
@@marko813FL its possible but it doesn’t sound like Adam, im sure during the live performances Adam will do those fills but it just sounds like Jesse doing lows in the mix..
Got to see Howard and Jessie at the Fillmore in Detroit a couple years ago perform the signal fire and it was absolutely amazing
@@dabbadoo2226 cool
I love how loud Mike D is in the mix! Dear god man I can't wait until February!
This song is basically a love letter to the fans... And I loved It!!!
Brrrrooooo! This sound is
- catchy
- bouncy
- heavy
- hits you in the feels!
I cannot wait for the rest of the album!
