Thanks Brent! If you were to try getting full coverage on that mirror, would you need to start on the inside portion that faces the window, for the sake of stretching over the rest of the mirror?
That is a great question. I have tried stretching that side first and last. I never felt comfortable with the amount of stretch required. There is too much risk of failure. So on this mirror is you cut the ppf into a triangle type shape. I know exactly shape just picture in my head, to make it easier on install and stretching
I have not had any problems with over stretching the PPF during this mirror install. Some PPF might have a problem, but we have not had any issues with various brands. 👍🏻

No. That is just a scrap of ppf. I would start with any shape that is big enough to cover the mirror and leave plenty for me to grip onto. 👍🏻
Do you not get any stretch marks along the edge/lip that you're wrapping over and around?
No. Are you asking about stress fractures in the top coat or stretch marks in the adhisive?
@@EncorePPFtint I assume top coat because the only adhesive that's tacked initially is at the pillar
