I’m one of those people who was going to get a GoPro hero 12, as the akaso is no hero, it isn’t bad at all since I’ve used these for a couple of years. I didn’t want to break the bank, just needed something with a front screen and 4k60 frames.
Very good video, I’m nit picking and I know it was a long video, however I think a little slower on some of the features and also more demonstrating of said features, as I say it is nit picking and I really enjoyed the delivery overall and it was nice to not have a lot of repeated waffle that takes the individual watcher no where. 🧐👌😉

I try to balance it between keeping the topics moving and having a longer in-depth video, because theres people that spend too long talking about 1 thing and sometimes on the other end of the scale where people don't talk enough about 1 area. But hopefully I can answer any questions via comments for anything I may have missed :)
I think a lot of people get confused with the SuperSmooth, because apparently, your phone has to be connected to it and it should be selected via the App for it to work, rather than natively direct from the camera - but I think in a new firmware update, this has been fixed.
I’ve learned a lot from this thank you and actually ended up getting the brave 8 and using this video to set it up. I appreciate your help with this, thanks. Question; Did you have problems with your AB 8 heating up? Mine drained the battery so fast while setting it up and locked up the screen and functions. I couldn’t even turn it off and had to do a hard reboot by taking out the battery, yeah, that was weird and I hope that I didn’t get a lemon.
Hi Renda Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated! I've not experienced an overheating issue - not sure why it would do that. Did you manage to contact your retailer to see if they can provide any guidance? It shouldn't do that at all.

INKEE Falcon Plus 3-Axis action camera gimbal stabilizer, can this stabilizer perform full performance with my Akaso Brave 8? Would like your advice if the stabiliser is suitable to use with Akaso Brave 8. If it is not suitable, do you recommed any other brands? Hope to hear from you! Thank you!
Thanks for the comment! I haven't used the Falcon Gimbal, but I do think it would benefit more from having a gimbal, just to get the best footage possible. Any compact gimbal thats made for Action cams should do a decent job, because this has good stabilization already in-built :)

When I got the camera, they didn't start shipping (about 2 weeks ago) - I didn't realise they had started shipping and selling by the time I published my video :)

You were the first youtube reviewer I have seen to get the Supersmooth to work. What is your trick?

Isn't Super smooth a feature in the software app?. Or is it a setting in the hardware?
It's a setting in the hardware as well, but you can only view/process it to watch via the app.
