Thanks for the video. I bought a new to me 2015 S7. I've noticed on low speed right turns I hear a clicking noise. Do you think this is the part I need to replace? Previous owner said he replaced the lower control arms, bushings, and guide links. Is that apart of the CV? Some other people said it could be some loose bolts or something. Im just a diy home mechanic so my diagnosing skills suck lol.
@@Mechani_Cole I know this is just the removal vid, but do you have a link for the axles you would put on? Or a part number? I'm a little conflicted whether I should get something off Rock Auto or ECS Tuning.
@jeremysiven7093 honestly, I'm keeping it cheap and just grabbing these most likely - amzn.to/3SqYDMm I've never had an issue with this brand of axles. Plus at that price I could go through 3 sets before it's gets to same cost as one OEM set.
I owned a b5 a4 AEB qnd did coilcovers, the nightmare of my life🤣 pinch bolt sheered and broke in the knuckle and i had to drill it out, blowing so much money on cobalt and titianiam bits to trill it out
As always, here is a full list of tools needed for the job. * Hex Sockets Extended - amzn.to/3vGEetJ * Triple square Sockets - amzn.to/41m7zFy * X-Core extension - amzn.to/47XiDeE * Aircat Pnuematic Impact - amzn.to/3U3tTC5 - Milwaukee Electric Rachet - amzn.to/47dMgrf

Love you vid's man, helps a lot with my Audi's. And in NE Ohio this job is a Nightmare at times.
Perfect timing as always! I was planning to replace my driver's side axle soon.
I think as long as they aren't stuck, this is one of the easiest cars to swap axles on🫡

I’m guessing you need an alignment after replacing the cv axel’s? I need to do mine as well.
Not typically no. If doing it this way it's not really needed.
Thanks man
Thanks for the comment!
