@RaymondG15 rofl that's me.. video was taken during our final for our PC Game Concepts class at NCSU. We came up with non-computer game (card/board/etc.), played them for two hours, then wrote a few short essays tying our games in to the concepts we learned throughout the course.

@kahnormahhar I am here for both since i'm getting my degree in joint from my school and wake tech, and after i get my bachelors in Animation and interactive design, will be trying to jump into the industry in the research triangle.
After all The research triangle is the game engine capital of the world so this is a great place to try getting into the industry.

"maybe Seattle" my ass. There may be a little less, but some of the biggest are here. Valve and Bungie are two of the biggest industry names, and their both in Seattle. Sucker Punch, Zipper, MGS, some of the people responsible for the biggest games in their genres all work out of the greater Seattle area. Quality over quantity I say!

I can already tell the movement in Gears 3 is a little too fast. They made it faster than Gears of War 1 which was a mistake.
I'm sure Epic will get yelled at for this during the Beta. I know I'll do my fair share of being angry on their forums. :]
