I find that I'm *always* angriest in the summer. Anything that usually pisses me off makes me almost want to explode when the weather is too hot. I find it really triggers negative emotions. Heat is associated with anger, after all
I agree. I hate hot weather. Hot weather makes me feel depressed and oppressed. When it is 80 plus degrees outside, I am miserable. I wish that it never got hotter than 60 degrees where I live.
I think most people’s love for summer stems from the fact that they got to have a break from going to school every day as a kid. So it was just ingrained in everyone’s brain that summer was the best season since we were little.
Polar, have you really just made a video talking about the weather ?? I know it is the concept of this channel to talk about everything, but this is too much

It's like overturning a stone and all the bottomfeeders come spewing forth.
I guess that's why August is known as "the dog days of summer". It's been 2 long months of heat, and now you've still got another 1.5 months to go, the children are on their summer holidays so everywhere will be over-crowded.
For me I’m semi happy during spring summer and autumn and high key suicidal in winter, 3 hours commuting, 9 hour working, only seeing the black sky because spending all day in workshop, or spending all day outside in the freezing cold fitting windows, I get so dramatic I start thinking about stealing rope from work to hang
The most annoying thing about summer is those people who keep saying how much they love the heat. I literally got into an argument with a woman who kept trying to convince me of how "wrong" I am for hating warm weathers. They believe they are somewhat wiser for liking this shit and still judge who hates it
My skin is really fair and I never get tan. It seems like those with tan skin who can wear shorts and dresses love summer. When I tell people I like the shorter days they look at me like I'm crazy.
Autumn is the best. It's hot but chill, the trees are beautiful, and all of the bugs go away. Used to live in a place where you couldn't go outside without getting stung by wasps in the summer.

I live in Florida and the heat is actually so bad that the ac unit in my house is constantly freezing over trying to keep cool. So yeah, summer's no good at all
At least you have air conditioning. In the UK we've got none! Our houses are also built to keep the heat in. So during a 35°C heatwave, we're just left to suffer
i know it’s an unpopular opinion but i actually like winter. The only things that i hate about winter are extremely cold temperatures like -30 degrees and above (which if you dress properly won’t too big of an issue) and driving in the snow. Other than that winter is pretty cool to me. Winter and Autumn really are the best season’s
I agree that driving in the snow is dangerous. But people forget that driving during a heatwave can also be dangerous- the roads are prone to going soft, and possibly melting.
Same. Give me April and May anytime. *Much* better months IMO! And not just because of the weather. Everyone just seems so much more chill in these months. From 1st of June onwards it's all downhill
I agree so much with this. Houses that trap heat, no ac‘s, constantly being irritated, getting headaches from the fans. And horrible sleep. Not to mention also never feeling clean. I also have a chronic illness wich only makes it all worse. Most of the summer fans I feel are either kids or parents that can escape it at home with AC‘s and out at pools and shit every hot day. But anyone who has to work especially from home or an office without ac‘s in front of an electronic, for them it‘s hell. Cause there is no real escape. Not at night, not in the day, not outside and also not indoors. I do really feel like the only ppl that praise that season are ppl that escape it 90% of the time. You don‘t love summer if your ac is blasting all day long and your on vacation in a pool all day chilling. You „love“ summer cause you don‘t have to deal with summer. But we do! And it‘s horrible! At least in winter I can warm up to a compfy degree with heating or clothes. But summer isn‘t escapable if you don‘t have AC‘s or unlimited time to just go to a pool or whatever.
Summer, cant stand it! Nothing fun about the humidity making me sweat my bollux off, being eaten alive by bugs, uncomfortable because I cant cool down, worrying about sunburn and all the parks, local woods and anywhere remotely nice is full of people with their screaming kids. I to love walking my dog when it's cold or raining as the places are empty and coming home and making a warm cuppa is 👌
You have no idea how much i needed this video, literally the only good things about summer for me are summer break and snow not blocking off roads in the mountains. The rest is miserable, seriously theres nothing fun about being hot and sweaty all day, and having no way to escape it outside of taking all your clothes off or having an AC but even then that only works to a point. Theres no snow, the ground outside is like stepping on the sun, theres bugs everywhere, its always bright and I just hate it so much. In complete contrast while winter/fall doesnt really have as big of a school break as summer, it is infinitely more cozy and fun. I went outside whenever it was cold or rainy last fall/winter in particular because it feels so nice and hey if its too cold i just need another layer and im good, and unlike the heat i never got tired of it. I also dont need to constantly think about “ok so its gonna be this temperature at this time so i should keep my ac on for this many hours” no! i can just be cozy and most of the time dont even need to think about the weather outside because its always nice! yeah we have to still use the heater and stuff but even then its not even like that is the only way to warm yourself up, far from it. Yeah maybe i would be saying something else if i lived in like, minnesota, but no matter what all the same pros with winter would apply. In conclusion, summer is everything fall/winter but if you made them bad, removed anything good and replaced them with more bad stuff and tried to excuse the season because “oh no school though!!!”.
In fall and winter you need to think about weather even more than in summer. In summer you mostly know that weather its gonna be. In fall you need to know if it will be raining or not to choose right clothes
Thank you Lewis, you have truly summed up my thoughts and feelings towards this beyond treacherous season. In the summer of 2019 I was feeling the heat at its worse and I tried to relax in my back garden in the sun only to be bombarded by shit eating wasps and other nefarious insects; I go back inside to avoid them only to find my self uncontrollably sneezing and sniffling due to the immense concentration of pollen not even my living room was safe so in a bid to avoid the suffering I retreat to my small bedroom and close my window, curtains and door. Hoping to relieve some stress and take my mind off things I take a deep breath and load up dark souls 3, it was my first time playing a souls game but I thought it looked fun, I spent 2 hours sweating away in that midday peak heat desperately trying to defeat the now trivial "first boss" and found myself getting slumped over and over again. My blood was boiling, my rage so unbelievably unquenchable - I slammed my controller into the wall and stormed out of that god damn heat trap death trap shithole of a room only to have my retarded little brother waiting outside my door like a fucking banshee with a nerf gun - he SHOOTS it RIGHT in my FUCKING EYE and you would not believe the pain that was built up inside of me, it was like a thousand suns had come together with one sole purpose commanding me to beat the shit out of that little fucker I mean the heat and pain and anger were so immense I couldn't help but lunge at him and in a fit of rage I strangled him, on our own carpet just outside my room, he stopped breathing and I panicked I tried to give him CPR but nothing was working his eyes were still and empty it was a horrific sight. I dragged him into his room and made it look like a suicide, tied a rope around his neck and attached it to the ceiling. I tried to splash water on my face and couldn't help but vomit at the atrocity I had committed. I got away with it. My parents were mortified. I was 16 then, I'm 20 now and I still have nightmares about it, the look in his cold dead eyes, the pain in my cranium, the £40 I had to spend on a new controller... I don't think I ever really got over that day. But still, it was a nice yet fleeting moment of relief to see that there are still others just like me in this world. Thank you Louis.

People freak out when I tell them my favorite month is January, especially when it regularly gets to -20°C and snows like a MFer up here. If I could live in January for the rest of my life I would.
Summer sucks. I hate summer with a fiery passion. I live on the West coast, and it gets dangerous here. The bugs, the massive heat waves, fans blow hot air. You can't go out because it's dangerous during excessive heat warning. Ants, ants, ants!! I hate summer real bad. Plus my cat, she also hates the summer badly. She sheds buckets of fur! Winter.. my favorite season! I love Winter!!!
I hate summer so incredibly much, it's been so hot for the past few days My friend has also been suffering a lot because they're allergic to everything, including pollen
Can’t disagree more about the allergies. Can’t say if it’s the same in the UK as I live in the US but the main season I associate with allergies is spring. All the pollen during spring is insane.
welcome to summer we got: outside of hell early back to school ads mosquitos getting ice cream like the vibes of getting toilet paper in 2020 and hot places fall and winter are the only seasons i frickin like.....
Biggest reasons i hate Summer are: 1) The cringey music they put on the radio (and the fact that my sister and mum get angry when i turn the radio off makes Summer an ear torture). 2) Bugs. The Hornet as an example. IT scares me less than the Asian Hornet.
I agree! I love everything about fall/autumn - the coziness inside with candles & tea and a warm blanket, the beauty of nature, the fact that it's not too cold and not too warm most of the time and of course spooky season!
I'm so glad that the UK isn't too hot at the moment. Heatwaves in this country are rare, but when they do happen, they're unbearable. Because our houses lack air conditioning. And I just find that everyone behaves like a cunt when it's really hot
Also like yeah, the UK doesn't get that hot, but when you are used to 1 Degree weather and then it goes to 25+, then obviously its gonna feel hot. I have seen people in california say the same thing about the cold where they call 20 Degrees cold, which it is for them, but for us it isnt. TLDR: Relativity exists.
Reason 5 is my main reason for hating summer. I don't have an AC either, so when I sleep I need to sleep without a blanket most of the time. It also gets so hot that the floors and walls feel sticky and gross. And the bugs, I hate bugs too. Canada btw.. it should be cold forever here.
In Minnesota, there is only really any greenery during the warm months and it's a huge mood lifter. Other than that I'm not a fan since the mosquitoes take full advantage of the humidity if dragonfly and spider populations are low
i live in canada (specifically alberta), i also hate summer. i got a condition which makes me sweat easily. that combined with extreme social anxiety and self consciousness, being all sweaty and hot around people is a hell i wouldn't want my worst enemy to experience. i live in an unwalkable suburb with a lack of trees. which creates a heat dome effect from the pavement. making the heat worse. this summer is my last "summer break" in my life before i graduate. so the only redeemable thing to me (no school for 2 months) is also going to disappear. oh also wasps and insects i fucking hate too. my anxiety is off the charts near those things. autumn and early winter is the best.
have you ever tried going to this place called "the beach", it has an incredible cooling effect when you come into contact with the liquid present there
I couldn't agree more! Especially as someone who really loves wearing leather, particularly jackets and leggings a lot, Winter FTW, Autumn/Fall is really nice too and Spring is Okay, early Spring at least.

People freak out when I tell them my favorite month is January, especially when it regularly gets to -20°C and snows like a MFer up here. If I could live in January for the rest of my life I would.
Heat in the UK? Trying living on Venus, I have it way harder.
try living in the sun's core
Summer sucks. I hate summer with a fiery passion. I live on the West coast, and it gets dangerous here. The bugs, the massive heat waves, fans blow hot air. You can't go out because it's dangerous during excessive heat warning. Ants, ants, ants!! I hate summer real bad. Plus my cat, she also hates the summer badly. She sheds buckets of fur! Winter.. my favorite season! I love Winter!!!
UK summer got me sweating from just breathing
ppl dont even enjoy summer they just hop in the water to avoid it ☠️
I hate summer so incredibly much, it's been so hot for the past few days
My friend has also been suffering a lot because they're allergic to everything, including pollen
As someone who has to take classes in the summer, summer is the worst season. Winter>summer for me in every category. No exceptions.
i dont know who sold this idea that summer is nice
The houses are also built to keep heat INSIDE! So it's hot outside, but it's the same inside
Can’t disagree more about the allergies. Can’t say if it’s the same in the UK as I live in the US but the main season I associate with allergies is spring. All the pollen during spring is insane.
You mean agree right?
@@itzme_ben1hime read the comment
@@vercettii seasonal allergies mate. It’s not just spring
@@itzme_ben1hime i know im not saying anything about that. Im just saying that he didnt agree which is what you asked bro
@@vercettii did you watch the video? He clearly stated allergies
Best part of summer is the long days
The best thing about summer is that it ends
You know Lewis is playing too much Final Fantasy 14 when he says “debuff” and “nullify” lmao
No mate, those terms also exist in plenty of other games as well
Ah yes, Final Fantasy 14, known for creating new words in the english dictionary that was never used before the game came out
@@tkflow nah probs because his Lewis Rex channel that specifically have videos about his FF14 gameplay
Chronically online gamer learns that words existed and were used in a context other than video games for a very long time
Summer was fine like 7 years ago when it was like 23C at worst but now its like 35C
Totally. 23°C is a decent temperature. 35-40°C fucking sucks!
welcome to summer
we got:
outside of hell
early back to school ads
mosquitos
getting ice cream like the vibes of getting toilet paper in 2020
and hot places
fall and winter are the only seasons i frickin like.....
Biggest reasons i hate Summer are:
1) The cringey music they put on the radio (and the fact that my sister and mum get angry when i turn the radio off makes Summer an ear torture).
2) Bugs. The Hornet as an example. IT scares me less than the Asian Hornet.
Finally someone says it. Summer sucks balls and I cannot fathom why anyone would enjoy it. Can't wait until it gets cold again
I agree! I love everything about fall/autumn - the coziness inside with candles & tea and a warm blanket, the beauty of nature, the fact that it's not too cold and not too warm most of the time and of course spooky season!
My fucking excessive sweating make me literally suicidial in the summer.
The hot weather I'm having here in the USA, as of this writing, been screwing with my mental health.
It’s because he’s a vampire
If I could help it, I would make it so that there would be only two seasons - Autumn and Spring
I'm so glad that the UK isn't too hot at the moment. Heatwaves in this country are rare, but when they do happen, they're unbearable. Because our houses lack air conditioning. And I just find that everyone behaves like a cunt when it's really hot
Fall is by far the best season
i hate summer.
fall and winter the 🐐
Also like yeah, the UK doesn't get that hot, but when you are used to 1 Degree weather and then it goes to 25+, then obviously its gonna feel hot. I have seen people in california say the same thing about the cold where they call 20 Degrees cold, which it is for them, but for us it isnt. TLDR: Relativity exists.
‘uk dosent get that hot’
you sure about that? It gets 40 celcius in summer
@@Supersaturn11 I literally live here lol. 40 celsius isn't the norm anyway.
Winter on top!
Only one good thing about Summer is an excuse to enjoy ice cream even more than the other 3 seasons
Maturing is realizing summer is the worst season.
each main character has a weakness, for us it's allergies lol
the camera turning off was actually hilarious
I couldn't agree more. Especially the insect part. I wouldn't say I have a phobia, but it's really close. I legit cannot be near insects.
If summer could not exist i would celebrate my entire life 😂❤🎉
why i love fall so much. perfect cold/heat balance great for skating and other activites yknow
In Minnesota, there is only really any greenery during the warm months and it's a huge mood lifter. Other than that I'm not a fan since the mosquitoes take full advantage of the humidity if dragonfly and spider populations are low
Couldn't agree more, i have a medical condition and summer makes living absolutely unbearable :(
fuck summer, allergy medicine does fuck all and i have a massive fear of bugs
I hate that it feels like already Sumner now though it's still June
summer in the Netherlands is fairly the same, most houses here are also built to contain the heat, and also the humidity makes me want to off myself
I mean, once you graduate summer loses its point
you'll hate my country it's effectively eternal summer
Humidity and heat
Body odor and sweat
Burning in car
Headaches
Bugs
Phone overheating 🥵
This whole video is just him venting his frustrations about the uk
Only good thing about summer is that it stays light outside until like 10pm
Me chilling in my air conditioned house watching a man die from the uk heat.
i live in canada (specifically alberta), i also hate summer. i got a condition which makes me sweat easily. that combined with extreme social anxiety and self consciousness, being all sweaty and hot around people is a hell i wouldn't want my worst enemy to experience. i live in an unwalkable suburb with a lack of trees. which creates a heat dome effect from the pavement. making the heat worse. this summer is my last "summer break" in my life before i graduate. so the only redeemable thing to me (no school for 2 months) is also going to disappear. oh also wasps and insects i fucking hate too. my anxiety is off the charts near those things. autumn and early winter is the best.
I live in Canada also. in fact specifically the hottest part of Canada, even more so at night
have you ever tried going to this place called "the beach", it has an incredible cooling effect when you come into contact with the liquid present there
our houses are literally build to retain heat too
Autumn gang know what’s good
And spring gang too. Spring and autumn fans unite
@@catguy4996 fuck summer , winter cool ig, spring and autumn for the elite
This is like ohio heat as well, from -20 to +30C in the summer
I couldn't agree more! Especially as someone who really loves wearing leather, particularly jackets and leggings a lot, Winter FTW, Autumn/Fall is really nice too and Spring is Okay, early Spring at least.
This video speaks to me, i like it.
I couldn't agree more
Summer needs to get nerfed or removed
The only thing I like about summer is no school. Other than
That, I fucking hate it. I go outside for 5 minutes and already wanna go back in
Go to Poland we haven't had a sunny day in 10 days it's constantly cloudy and raining
@@WindowsDrawer sounds epic
@@WindowsDrawerThat's not bad at all. In the UK we can go for 2 weeks without direct sunlight in the winter. It kinda sucks but we cope- we have central heating.
I was gonna shit on you for living in the UK, then I realized my country doesn’t have AC units either and you’re actually right
The UK is melting right now bruh
And it's still only June. July will be awful!
