I think practically what will manifest will be huge concessions and privileges, for instance free passes and journeys into public institutions and transportation, and culturally you will be expected to give deference to them, for example when queuing and even in discussions and general conversations. Basically a two-tier society is being set up which 'positively' discriminates against you.

@@peterwalker7761 Don't get me wrong, multiculturalism is possible, for example in my country, Hungary, there were many colonizations after Mongols and Ottomans destroyed everything they could and the king/queen had to ask neighbors to come and occupy the depopulated areas.
My ancestors are Germans, Slovakians, Italians. We integrated, fought for Hungary, we are Hungarians. There are many different ethnicities here, and we live as one nation.

An Evening Standard journalist said this is alot of fuss about nothing. She thinks it is being blown out of all proportion and is 'pathetic'. The Theatre Royal Stratford nearly went under when they built the original Stratford shopping centre but locals (mainly white people then) campaigned and it got English Heritage status and money from somewhere to save it originally.

Used to clean the windows of a shopping parade in a mainly black and pakistani area and at no time was i protected against the black gaze. Woulld enter the hairdressers to clean the widows inside and out and would have to run the gauntlet of at least half a dozen black guys staring and trying to intimidate me by obstructing my progress and not moving out of the way .The whole time kissing their teeth while the shop owner a bla ck person whose business it was would say nothing .Would have to tell the owners to put them in line or tell them to get this rabble to clean the windows which was never going to happen as they were too busy sucking their teeth and looking cool.
Have lost count the number of times they threatened to cut me or make the sign to shoot me but always later probably waiting till i hit 65.
This is rich, protect them from the white gaze and these were the minor instances and the only thing the police would do was threaten me with arrest if i stood up for myself and tell me to walk away from my place of work if i was harassed .
Im an ex soldier and these police would never cut it in the army and all this was over twenty years ago and it just gets worse.
What surprises me most is 1. That they paid whitey and 2. to clean things. Colour me shocked.

I escaped to a beautiful Scottish Island from the South of England and I share this idyllic place with other English people (young and old) and of course… the Scots too, who love having us up here and are always so welcoming.

While listening to you speak, I noticed that words such as "demoralizing" and “depressing” came up quite a few times, which seems to be the goal of those in charge who are committing these crimes against the British people. A demoralized population is one that won't fight back. But you can't allow things get to that point because, as you pointed out, you didn't vote for this with Brexit and yet here they are doing it. The question is, what will the British people do to put their government back in line?

Males going to a cinema and watching a movie is not even the male gaze (the original film theory). *The male gaze referred to the way male filmmakers portrayed women in their films.* It was not about people just existing, it was a critique of certain artistic methods. For instance the pan up from feet to head of a scantily clad woman with sexy saxophone music playing or the displaying of women's scantily clad or naked bodies whilst not displaying male naked bodies. True, but there is a more current generalized use of 'gaze' that one can use as a generalisation to identify a certain pov and viewer. It is disingenuous to say it is not useful and without meaning. To pretend white people do not see black people behaving in certain ways, sadly sold as blackness, is dishonest. And the white gaze and black gaze on such behaviours is different but there is more commonality than most appear to ignore, which simple dismissal of the idea of gaze - denies. I went from Bristol to a windrush exhibition in Birmingham a few years ago. I was with five black women friends. Part of the day was a free Caribbean dinner, which was solely for the Caribbean elders. I know it was because there was an evening event and their white relatives and other white people showed up. I stayed with my group and was made really welcome among around 40 Caribbean people. At the time I didn't guage it, but after I was really chuffed and felt privileged. Because the whole event was so multi-cultural, I didn't feel the organisers were racist, Theatres are another kettle but it has been coming for a very long time as Britain/America has promoted separatist policies, around the world and within societies.
I live in a black area and still get the Caribbean gaze sometimes after 36 years, I just say to people, ''racism is racism no matter what colour it comes in''. When I moved here in 1987 and the area was giving way to cocaine dealing, so had to defend myself. It was like the wild west for the best part of 15 years. Lots of black and white people were driven out by crime and abuse, but I'm still here and will continue standing up for myself no matter what gaze or racial abuse is thrown at me. Abuse that is inspired by a black president who did nothing for poor black Americans, by BLM who chose the name to exclude white people, it's all in the discourse. Also by the British intelligentsia who usually have no black or Asian friends, or if they do their friends are as rich and privileged as they are. Those elitist views are very dangerous when held by young people setting out on a cocaine dealing career. Still in Bristol we have a black mayor who has left the inner-city for a very expensive white enclave. He has turned the inner-city into a drum and bass party, a party that began today at 4.20 pm and could go on til 3am. Tt is echoing into my house as we speak, very painful, but called a mere challenge by the mayor's mouth pieces in the council.

For anyone who witnessed the entrepreneurial energy of the 1980s and the resurgence of economic growth in the UK, the amount of time and resource being devoted to these matters is not only depressing but truly alarming. As an American who has a deep love and appreciation for British history and culture, why aren't the British peoples fighting back against becoming a minority in their own homelands? It's truly heart breaking to see a group as fascinating as the peoples of the British isles, especially the English, being replaced by 3rd world migrants, and it's even more heart breaking to see them not fighting back. Immigration is a bit more of a nuanced issue in the US, but to see the English become minorities in their own major cities is degusting quite frankly. I hate to say this, but it's difficult for me to even respect the British as a group of people when they clearly don't respect themselves, that's why they're allowing themselves to be replaced. At least in the rest of Europe there seems to have been push back against immigration, but there doesn't seem to be anything relevant fighting for the natives of the UK. It's like you've lost all the will power to survive, and if you aren't willing to fight for yourself, why should anyone else try to prevent your replacement?
