  • Ciao everyone! Today I'm sharing 12 fall 2024 fashion trends that aren't really trends because they keep coming back every year. I like to see trends as elements of style, that way I can make trends my own without shopping or spending money. I hope you enjoy today's video!

*I am sharing links to my loafers in the video below because I truly love them and have been getting questions about them on IG! But I hope the biggest takeaway from this video is learning style TOOLS to use what you already have, and not buying more STUFF. My wardrobe is specific to me and my tastes - yours will be different! And that is great because fashion is about creativity and expression! NB: some of these items are affiliate links and I will make a small commission if you make a purchase. This is part of my strategy to make valuable slow fashion content free. A lot of these items listed below are not the actual product because most of my items are either very old or secondhand, so I've tried to find the most similar item.
    Thank you for watching! xx
On this channel, I share #slowfashion and #sustainablefashion tips that center around how to #shopyourcloset, and restyling pieces you already own. I also spotlight brands that I believe in every now and then. I believe in #creativityoverconsumption, and that we all have the power to be conscious consumers.
Slow fashion looks different for everyone, and I'm so grateful you share this space with me!

Alyssa at her best! These are my favourite videos. I learn so much and look at what I have with new eyes. The only issue/ challenge is that I live in the Southern hemisphere. This does not mean that we are strictly replicating these styles 6 months later. Style is constantly evolving so it’s looking at how we can incorporate elements of these trends into our summer wardrobes while keeping next winter in mind when we consider decluttering and packing away out current winter wardrobe.

You are so right! Fashion is all over the place. Hemlines could be mini, midi or maxi. I love that whatever I have can be made stylish. My favorite is wearing any color in cooler weather. Leopard 🐆 is a no for me though.

I am passing on the plaid trend, it is so specific and hard to style with what I already have. I do love the burgundy trend. I think burgundy and cognac boots and bags look very rich and interesting. I am glad to see so much color. I am kinda sick of black, and some of the color combinations in the video look amazing.

The best fall fashion trend advice! Christina Mychas and Tasha Juli also made good videos on the subject that were introspective for me. When it comes to great style, sometimes what you buy/wear or don’t are equally important!

Yes! Fashion is a state of mind and just recreating what’s already been done but this time just adding our own stamp on it to make it our style..

I noticed the drape-cozy-swaddling aesthetic, as well. I love 💕 it. It Represents to me the “soft life.” so soft! It says, Be kind to me. 😂

I purchased the course, am a few chapters in, and LOVE it. You are providing great info (and for some reviewing concepts) in a manner we can relax and delve into.
I know it’s early but I am clearing out and wonder about spring “trends”….
Any items YOU will always have in your closet?
Also a few items to have for holiday dressing

Is the course the membership of your msbeltempo website or something different, please? I can’t be sure I found the correct link (UK: a country where the course is unavailable?). Another enjoyable video. Helped me realise how much I LOVE autumn style: rich colours, lush textures, draping cosiness, heritage & boho vibes, practical accessories, a sprinkle of spice, academia…

I sell donated jewelry for fund raising. The latest batch there is a pearl choker with 12/14mm size pearls probably 60+ years old. It reminds me Princess Diana so I searched her wearing pearls photos. I saw that she wore casual or crew neck tops/dresses wearing pearl choker that didn’t fight with the neckline. I found it very interesting how a choker style in big pearl size can enhance the facial features. I already put that choker on Poshmark before I decided to buy it for myself. I have quite a few choker necklaces but they are all in small size beads. This vintage pearl choker really brings attention to my face and dresses up casual outfits.

Hi Alyssa I live in Paris and there is no mention of your course. What a pity ! Very nice video and interesting topic. In Paris, we value long-term investment buys. Lots of very long coats seen today in Paris in the Marais. Thank you for your work.

Another great posting. Agree with so much of your posting. However, that see through “trend”, is fake. I see it on the runway and from influencers, but here in Montréal no one is wearing it. A recent trip to New York and London proved to me that no one is wearing it. I asked a friend in the Netherlands, Amsterdam in particular, no one is wearing it. The same from a cousin living in Paris, on one is wearing it. So……is it a trend?
