the fully restored Kumamoto Castle and learnt about the restoration process of the other structures within the castle grounds
Kato Shrine, a shrine where one prays at to overcome life difficulties
Sakuranobaba Josaien Castle Town, an Edo-themed shopping arcade
Suizenji Jojuen Garden a tranquil garden offering breathtaking landscapes
We also ate several Kumamoto specialties:
