- Amid a chorus from the Opposition benches that the Centre restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and set a time frame for holding Assembly elections there, BJP MP from Ladakh, Jamyang Namgyal, on December 05 made a strong case for status quo to continue under the UT administration saying that the erstwhile state needs peace, security and progress more than polls.

J&K is currently union territory, so money given by the center is not fritters away in corruption. If Bihar votes for BJP instead of corrupt Laloo, development will be rapid.

Kerala is not just beautiful scenery. there are a lot of poor people who haven't gotten their salary recently. their pensions delayed , their livelihood in debt, their religious identity insulted, no safety in food, no safety for women ( conversion/marital abuse/honey trapping/dowry deaths/no job security) increasing drug problems(mainly in children), addiction issues (alcohol/drugs/internet) mismanagement (horrible roads, expensive public transport, mismanagement of waste,)and so on. The treasury is said to be empty when it comes to paying salaries, but taxes are levied and huge parties/fairs are done to make it seem like everything is okay. Like naya pakistan, this is nava keralam. All promises, and only one group left is reaping the enjoyment
@HYPOCRISY___ kerala became first in development index because of the strides of healthcare and education instituted by the royal family of travancore(long back) They set up kerala university, gave their palaces away as hospitals, schools and other public institutions gave a lot of attention to women health,women education, adult education, empowerment. you can come to thiruvananthapuram and see that a lot of institutions that stand proudly were former palaces given away for particular causes like SUT, SAT, SCT. All the development that is now present are modifications of these contribution. The mass migration of Malayalees to Mumbai and other parts of India and the mass migration to south east asia (singapore, malaysia, indonesia) England, America, and the persia (UAE) are testaments to the horrible societal issues that are plaguing ordinary people in kerala. that is why they are fleeing. Malayalis are willing to go anywhere as literally rhey want to escape.
