When we are children we "FEAR " our parents, its really respect ,we love our parents respect them and fear them when we do wrong ,God is the ultimate parent ,who deserves the most respect
Christ wants us to fear him and listen to him, because he wants the best for us eternally.
If we turn our ear from the truth, we might enjoy a few seasons of reckless joy, but eternally we will be tormented.
Unless the parent doesn't teach it. I didn't fear my parents but I feared my sister and I feared my grandpa

Jesus was not a people's pleaser, he did not mince his words. He offended a lot of people, for the truth. So it doesn't matter that you don't believe in him, that doesn't make him less real. If you don't come to him, that doesn't slow down his coming. He will come and we have to prepare a way for him.
He is the way lol regardless of what humans do he will make the way

When I was born again, I quickly shared the Gospel with my closest friends. Many have turned from me, they all have different views on how to be saved but it's no where near the Truth. One of my friends told me "you shouldn't turn to God out of fear".."you're going at it the wrong way"..I told her that verse, she distant herself from me. She's read the Bible but she completely missed the message. 💔 I came to Christ because I was lost and now my biggest fear would be losing Him. 🥺🙌💖 I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..I'm so grateful for everything he is in my life. 🙏💝

Through Christ you are never alone. Even when we fail and everyone around us fail.. Jesus will never fail. Jesus never asked you to walk alone...He says he will be with you wherever you go. Trust in him. He will never leave or forsake you. Lay all your burdens down at his feet. Surrender to him and draw close to him and watch what he does. He gave his life for you so you can be with him for all eternity. This world will fail you but, if you keep your eyes on the Lord and off the world, you will understand how much Jesus loves you. He has not left any of us without comfort or a way to him or a way home. He is the way, the truth and the life. He is the door. He is the one True Living God who made himself flesh like us in order to save us. The cross is empty like the grave they placed him in because he is faithful. He overcame this world and if you will trust him he will help you and all of us do the same. Don't hold back from Jesus. Give everything to him. Empty out your flesh and allow your spirit to receive him. The flesh isn't who we are..the spirit is the real us. Flesh and things of this world is temporary but God is eternal. ❤️

Something I really needed to hear. This message made me discover something new. You can surrender your soul to Christ and be saved and be born again and not yield to surrendering your life as in letting him take control of your life. I’ve been saved since I was seven and I’ve disobeyed God when the Holy Spirit convicted me into not falling into temptation, in which I gave in and I’ve not feared the Lord and surrendered my life to the control of Christ’s hands. You can not fall from grace. In other words you can still be a saved person and not surrender your life to Christ.
Me too I pray that everyone struggling with this for God to get us to that place to submit and surrender to Him and walk with the Lord the way he desires us to. In Jesus's name I ask and pray. Amen. Happy 2018 to everyone and God bless you all..
So very true! I learned this the hard way I'm now finally understanding this now. I thank God He got my attention in the horrible consequences I suffered. But God is faithful and all things work together for good. I do now fear the Lord and surrender. Greatful ❤
Amen brother! So many of us struggle with this very thing of total surrender and, for myself, it has made for a very trying life and at times very painful but all glory to God who refuses to let any of us go and never leaves us or forsakes us. Please tell me wear that is stated in the Bible. Surrendering your life to Christ is a life long process. It is called “ denying “ yourself ( Matthew 16:24) also we must “ crucify “ our flesh ( Galatians 5:24 Ephesians 4:22) why would you not want to do what Jesus asks us to do? It’s also about being obedient to Him. The gate is narrow ( Matthew 7:13-14) not everyone is going to go to heaven. I have been looking into these verses for quite sometime and I over this past year have given up some things for Jesus. My life in eternity is more important than this life on earth. I too struggle with things and I ask The Lord for forgiveness when I make mistakes. Thank goodness for His grace. I do not want to take advantage of that grace by doing what I want to do. That is definitely a sin. Paul states that in Romans 6:1-4. We have to live by what we believe in and die to our fleshy selves everyday.

Amen dr stanley. We absolutely must choose to repent from sin and choose to cling to him. He will not turn anyone away. Every one has the ability to repent and believe fallen as we are. We are seperated from God because of sin but we can still reach for him. His hand is already stretched to every sinner and not willing that anyone should perish.

Never forget: It is right to give God thanks and praise, always and everywhere. Do not fear praising God, in any instance. After all, do you not seek to be respected and loved..praised, by all those who surround you, all the days of your life?
No one wants to be hated or forever ignored. God wants to be loved much like we do, except, since God is the greatest, h wants that love and respect more than you or I.
Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom
Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom but not the end. "He who fears is not made perfect in love." As long as man can feel fear towards God it is well that he should, but remember that we weren't made for mere fear.

To fear Lord means to respect him, our relationship with god is is very comfortable and peaceful. Your fear should be transformed love. He loved you so much, he's always thinking the best he can do for you, he has loved you to the darkest. The is the purest, when he made everything he make us as himself isn't that a great thing? giving us his own face? he loved us so much, cared for us yet we disobeyed him.We listened to him who is God's enemy. This broke out relationship with god but still he loved us so much he was with us. So many times we did great sin and he tolerated everything. Whose fault was that? Obviously ours, yet he paid us.He sent his one and only son on earth and die and suffer as we should suffer for our sins. Do we deserve all of these? No, we don't deserve we got it all by his grace. So now last what can you do for him? The first thing you can do is love him for what m he did for you,with all your heart and soul. Secondly follow all Jesus commandments. Thirdly, surrender 100% to him not 60% , 89% or 99% , 100 % means 100%. And accept holy spirit and his gifts. Never get lazy keep him first. If you'll obey this all you'll get the very best place on heaven and find joy.
I feeled like to help you from heart or words from God. He has given you the instructions now it's your wish to become wise or foolish.

As crestons wife I don't agree with one thing he said my parents were lukewarm christians I'm not anymore thanks to God I don't live in sin I'm a prodigal daughter who sings but doesn't live in sin anymore by God's grace and have also recently been delivered from legalism now God is teaching me what it means to fear the Lord as a believer as a Christian

So I’ve been stuck in the house and I’m gonna be able to go out in 4 days and my heart is telling me to relax and watch tv shows until those 4 days pass and still make time for God and to not use the tv too much. My heart is telling me to stare out a window all day because all tv is bad and has the devil through it and can open evil spirits in my home. What is this feeling?
