For those that never played Perfect Dark, the Farsight doesn't just SEE through walls, it also SHOOTS through walls no matter how far away the opponent is. If you found an opponent through the sight you could kill them from a comfortable corner on the other side of the map.
It kinda broke the multi-player... it was just a race to get it, whoever found it first would just hide in a corner and kill everyone before they could even find a gun.
You lost me at Elden Ring. After what I've seen after playing for over 100 hours is every magic spell is balanced, unless you're thinking about some kind of backwards intuitiveness where using magic in a magical world is somehow bad.

If fighting characters can be considered weapons, Tekken's Gon and Eddy Gordo would be on this list. My kids understood Gon being banned, but they fought valiantly for me to unban Eddy. My point was proven when I trounced each one in turn by using Eddy...with my eyes closed
Ashamed? I rocked that Farsight in Perfect dark and loved every second of it. Me and my friends would beeline for it on the complex lvl and whoever got to it first started dropping everyone while all the others tried to rush him down. It was tense lol
I was not ashamed to use the Farsight when my cousins and I played on the n64. And I loved putting the laptop gun on the wall covering me as I did so (the slayer rocket launcher was great too)

See the thing about using the Farsight XR-20 is once you took your first shot, you became the target of every player on the map. The ultimate cheese in Perfect Dark Multiplayer is using the Farsight AND Laptop gun at the same time. For those who don't know, every gun has a secondary function. The laptop gun's secondary was an automated sentry.
Nothing wrong with hiding in a dead end, guarded by a sentry mode laptop, and using the farsight... Except I did get several dead arms from my mates when my screen section went black... But that couldn't have anything to do with it could it!?!
That's why four player in room is always better than online. You play cheap, you get a punch in the arm! Loved PD multiplayer. 8 Meat Sims makes for a wood chipper if fun.
First Fromsoft game i went mage build as it seemed the easiest to get the hang of. I almost have my mage all the way to the end. I do have melee alts that i work on as well. so I have no shame using magic in elden ring
"The best video game players can beat in one day." The games need to have a proper ending. So no games where the player can go on forever but it doesn't need to be 100% complete. Speedrunning a game isn't an option either. Just because one person beat a 40-hour game in 8 hours doesn't mean everyone will.

PERFECT DARK ❤😁 all time favorite game. Love that the creators made Goldeneye because the weapons and maps were almost exactly the same. Shooting enemies with the alien gun was so satisfying 👌😁 cant wait for the next Perfect Dark, the trailer was released a while ago and it looks awesome

Am I missing something been watching a few of these lists lately, and Jules keeps mentioning Jiggle phyisics and beach volleyball for Soulcaliber, I thought that was a Dead or Alive spin off, even looked it up can't find a Soulcaliber version anywhere. Juggle phyisics in Soulcaliver wouldn't suprise me though but not seen or played a Soulcaliver since IV years ago.

Considered a noob weapon because it ALWAYS crits when attacking an enemy from behind... and it discourages usage of the airblast (it costs 2.5 times the normal amount of ammo needed), the most versatile and useful Pyro tool ever, and the real line that divides noobs from good players.
You wanna talk overpowered it’s an equipment but the IED from COD Ghost 😭🤦🏾♂️ I got blown up so many times trying to traverse multiplayer it was always that one person that stuck these in every door way 🥴
Never played Perfect Dark, but my friends and I had a blast playing Red Faction. Not once did we think the Rail Gun (sees & fires through walls) or the Fusion Rocket ( Red Faction's BFG) were cheap. Multilayer sessions were an adrenaline rush.

I also had a friend, who _did_ have one, knew it full-well, and he would not only kill me mercilessly, on 2 player, in games like _Goldeneye_ and _Perfect Dark,_ but in addition, he also did his level best to spawn-camp me whenever he could. So, when I first found the see-through-walls setting on the Farsight XR20 I was more than happy to cheese him until insanity set in. Basically, I _would,_ and _should_ have been ashamed to use it... in any other situation. As it was, I was not sorry in the least. I'm still not.

There is nothing wrong with Oddjob's hat. It has terrible range, takes time to 'reload', and you can only use it if you pick Oddjob, who moves slightly slower than many other characters. You can even dodge it if you know it's coming. It's not even like he's misprogrammed to be short anymore.

In theory, an invisible sword sounds cheap, but in actual gameplay, it looks more like you're swinging a lightsaber. I guess you could argue that its long range is a bit cheap, but I'd hardly call it unfair

I feel like there was a gun that could shoot through walls in TimeSplitters: Future Perfect as well, but I don't think it was all that strong. Edit: Mag Charger. I was a bit wrong on the damage. It does 46% damage to the head, 35% to the body, 22% to the legs. If you hit someone who's lost a little bit of health to the head twice, you can two shot them through the walls. At most, you could probably three shot unarmored people through the walls.
MW2 was a game where everything was overpowered and broken and rage inducing but you couldn't stop playing it. remember the javelin glitch or the care package glitch. any other game that would be unacceptable but in MW2 it was just apart of the absurdity of it all
As for the patch madness in Elden Ring; can't I just play the game without patching at all and just don't use the online features? Then I can enjoy every broken build.
I, a user of the Farsight. I do not feel any shame. I would use it it in game that would give me it. Hell…if Warzone added that gun. I would have NO SHAME in using it.
Top game's we'll never see remakes for because the IP is in limbo (a couple examples would be either the studio is defunct or a AAA publisher owns it and will never do anything with it).
Bloodborne's shield really doesn't fit in the concept of this list. Yea, the description makes fun of the mindset of hiding behind a shield, but in the game it's trash, so there's no OP-ness shame like all the other items, which was supposed to be the point of the list. And the spell one in Elden Ring is a bad entry, too. The only thing making spells that powerful is a combination of flask mixes and a buff spell requiring you to stand still while casting, so you need to know what you're doing with the boss you're targeting to be able to successfully use it.
Well the caveat about the Phantom sword, was that, sure it was like 8ft long, but you could never achieve a perfect. Each swing, chipped away at your life bar.
If you really think about it.. Sorcery would really be OP if it was real. Rock sling helped me finish the game in first go. But then I grew some balls and became a bonk boi.
How about 10 games that immediately opened with you getting your butt kicked . Or 10 video game weapons that were massively over powered but definitely not worth the end cost .
Not that I have any interest in ever playing a from soft game..... But like the best part of Castlevania symphony of the night was after I got double crissegrims and the combat became completely trivial.

My phone was Bluetooth up to the car and I was watching while I was driving. I turned off the car and the Bluetooth disconnected right after he said sexy beam. So I sat there for a few seconds thinking he was just taking a dramatic pause.
Everyone talks about oddjob's height in goldeneye as cheating, but nobody brings up that there is another short character in the game to even out a 1vs1 match, and thats the female moonaker soldier. I think she is equally as short as oddjob.
You forgot to mention that when you use the scope for the Farsight XR-20, it would find the targets for you, meaning all you really needed to do, is aim, and wait.

MW2 was a game where everything was overpowered and broken and rage inducing but you couldn't stop playing it. remember the javelin glitch or the care package glitch. any other game that would be unacceptable but in MW2 it was just apart of the absurdity of it all

I, a user of the Farsight. I do not feel any shame. I would use it it in game that would give me it. Hell…if Warzone added that gun. I would have NO SHAME in using it.

Bloodborne's shield really doesn't fit in the concept of this list. Yea, the description makes fun of the mindset of hiding behind a shield, but in the game it's trash, so there's no OP-ness shame like all the other items, which was supposed to be the point of the list. And the spell one in Elden Ring is a bad entry, too. The only thing making spells that powerful is a combination of flask mixes and a buff spell requiring you to stand still while casting, so you need to know what you're doing with the boss you're targeting to be able to successfully use it.
Well the caveat about the Phantom sword, was that, sure it was like 8ft long, but you could never achieve a perfect. Each swing, chipped away at your life bar.
You can always tell someone knows jack about firearms when a videogame let's shotguns do damage further than 5 feet, and people think it's OP
If you really think about it.. Sorcery would really be OP if it was real. Rock sling helped me finish the game in first go. But then I grew some balls and became a bonk boi.

Not that I have any interest in ever playing a from soft game..... But like the best part of Castlevania symphony of the night was after I got double crissegrims and the combat became completely trivial.

I used that phantom blade gleefully after I unlocked it. Made it easy 2 speed run the story with 2nd favorite character. Taki being my favorite
My phone was Bluetooth up to the car and I was watching while I was driving. I turned off the car and the Bluetooth disconnected right after he said sexy beam. So I sat there for a few seconds thinking he was just taking a dramatic pause.

Everyone talks about oddjob's height in goldeneye as cheating, but nobody brings up that there is another short character in the game to even out a 1vs1 match, and thats the female moonaker soldier. I think she is equally as short as oddjob.

You forgot to mention that when you use the scope for the Farsight XR-20, it would find the targets for you, meaning all you really needed to do, is aim, and wait.
