To clarify something, an asylum seeker is only allowed to seek asylum in the nearest stable neighboring country. Theres so many more opportunities in the middle east though and other countries. So lets say you're from the southern part of africa, the closest stable nation is in north africa, therefore thats where you go. These asylum seekers have gone too far to try to get to the first world rather than following the rules to make it there. I mean so many from the 3rd world work hard to legimiately seek employment in the first world, have a high education, even learn the language of the country they want to migrate to and still get rejected.
