  • Less than 40 kilometres separate the French coast from England at Calais. The crossing seems easy to many, although in reality it is highly dangerous. Smugglers have recently been launching more and more small boats from the French beaches crammed with young people in the hope of a better life.

This problem will only get worse. We have plenty of our own problems like a shortage of housing in England. They need to build and improve their own country instead of abandoning it.

Think don't understand why people in these situations continue to have children who they can't feed or look after, and deliberately put vulnerable children in grave danger. They don't need to come to the UK.They need to put the children first. Keep them safe in Europe instead of always trying to get more. That's not fleeing to safety, that's greed imo.

The small boy that wants to go to England, what's his plan or parents plan if England doesn't want any of them. A very simple condom would save a lot of them their problems which they try and fail to pass on to others.

The daughter was clearly uncomfortable having her home invaded with her dad's assistance but was conditioned into a certain answer. It's one thing to be open-minded but a whole different story being this gullible and careless with absolute strangers who have already proven that they don't give a shit about the law.

He's talking about COLONIALISM, the looting of resources and destruction of the economy/education, infrastructure etc.
They can't rebuild without the resources.
Homelessness in the uk is on the increase. Wages do not cover the cost of living. An ordinary person will always struggle and want a better life. If it means migrating, they will.
Blame the governments of the countries who allow these situations to occur.
Your hate is misplaced. Learn the history of the world.

@@user-lv1jc7jr1z I don’t hate anybody. You’re also clearly thick. I asked a couple of very simple questions which you chose not to answer. I do agree with you that people migrate in search of a better life and I cannot fault anyone wishing to do so, what I cannot agree with is this rhetoric that Britain invaded other countries so must now pay the price. Colonialism, do Sweden have a history of such?

@@JonCarlos91 "Clearly I'm thick." Yes, I must be. You said it.
Read carefully, one of the migrants is a Kurdish person, kurdistan is in IRAQ!
COLONIALISM occurred to this region back in the 1930s when the British outlined the borders. The British have LOOTED THIS COUNTRY and the surrounding countries.
If, this makes me thick, so be it!
Now go and learn about the world before you spout your holier than thou views.
Refugees and migrants are welcome to the UK. Good luck to them. They deserve peace. People like you are the reason we have these situations. Your full of self centered crap about you! Look at the bigger picture. Look at the root cause.

Understandable, but they're mostly a drain on resources that are not finite, and sheer number are causing societal problems all over Europe where a lot of people already living in poverty,as is the UK. We simply cannot afford to keep paying for the poor of the world,it's just not possible. And they need to know there's no houses available here for British people, so they shouldn't expect it unless they pay themselves imo. Not refugees if in France and travelled through the EU. This is economic migration, which actually benefits all, but only if they have skills we need and apply legally, like 1m others have done.
