@Seterix I believe the light vendor actually programs the songs and customer is given list of songs to program to lights
But still.. Even setting up all the lights.

@@LifeofAedan You use an open source program called Xlights, you still need controllers that connect through Ethernet and the LED light strips and then you set up each model in the program like the loops and the singing faces etc.

This is lighting.. this wouldnt really land you a job in IT or any kind of tech security or maintenance job. It's incredible sure, but the programming skill required is extremely minimal.
@@wizardsmix7961 The comment was meant as a joke, and as someone who has programmed before, which it seems you have not, even something as this needs a vicious amount of code even for a microcontroller to handle. Sure, it could be set up on a PC with own/public/proprietary software, but it's still programming one way or another.
@@abysspegasusgaming Amount of code and complexity of code isn't the same thing. This is easy to do from a logic standpoint, simple coding, just a tedious amount of it. I seriously can't overstate how simple the coding is behind this. I honestly could run the exact same light show off of Scratch given that the lights have flexible enough options for inputs.
Honestly he is better than most "IT" guys at my job so hands down if you need a job let me know lol.
@@abysspegasusgaming This is most certainly set up with some kind of proprietary controller and software made specifically for this purpose. The software probably has a very abstract and visual workflow so that the artist can concentrate on what they are creating, not how they are implementing it.
This is in no way to say that this is "easy". On the contrary, you need a lot of skill and experience to set up something elaborate like this, it's just a completely different skill set from "traditional" programming/general IT jobs.

Fortunately they are all LEDs so they’re pretty energy efficient, especially compared to incandescent or halogen lights. Plus, they are only on very briefly and not at 100% brightness all the time. The biggest power-hogs are those 8 moving head lights on top, those are probably a couple hundred watts each depending on what the light source is.
Gamers are happy with LED's in their PC and this Guy literally says: Get on my Level. 😂

@@Quantum-Bullet That is so far from false. I have a led light that is 10w but looks like it gives out 100w of old bulbs. That means I can have 10 bulbs compared to the single one of an old lamp. My house has exactly 9 fittings with 15 LED bulbs. This amounts to 123W total. Compare that to at least 10x at 1.23kW instead.
My electricity comes in at 0.1739 per kWh. This means on average of use a day over a month is €7.70 if I had the same amount of bulbs I would pay €77. Now you would think BS. However I see my inlaws bills, they pay far more than us. I monitor our electricity closely as I plan to go off grid.
