For years I've associated the word 'plasma' with a vibrant magenta colour, so calling this video plasma fits not only how fire the track is, but it also fits the artwork.
@@rustleancar131 I've seen some gameplay of it years ago, but have forgotten most of it. That association actually came from the Roblox game Elemental Battlegrounds, because the plasma element in that game has got a magenta colour to it.
Given how POWERFUL this track feels, i'd prefer to interpret this as not the NEOMACHINE going off with no host, but rather a NEOMACHINE that reached completion and was perfected by the lightners who built it.
Kinda like that Kikoriki Pin Code episode where they make a perfected version of their spaceship but can't get anyone to pilot it since the pilot would also have to be perfect
as much as i adore this entire track, 1:32 and onwards is SUCH. a banger. maybe it’s just the percussion - style beat or the glitchiness and “cut up” style of Power of NEO (which is also coincidentally my favorite part of the original BIG SHOT) but it just gives me chills every time. amazing job!!!

In term's of the idea of the song it's about the neo body without spamton sort of going haywire ether before or after spamton is connected/disconnected and this is the song it would have. In terms of musical references I can only determine two new light motifs being the core theme and undyne theme at the end alongside the song itself being very glitchy and more fast paced (more then big shot) I'm unsure if it has anything to do with ultrakill but it would fit in design wise with that game

Alright, this track is amazing, that means it's time to analyse what I love about it. So after the opening sample of 'Another Medium', which serves both as a calm intro before the intense part and as a hint for what's about to come later, the track starts off not with a lead melody, but with background instrumentation. Specifically it starts off with a heavy robotic beat that feels very energetic, full and gripping for something that lacks a proper melody. And not having a melody means the faint 'Power of NEO' motif in the second half doesn't interfere with it at all. A great way to kick the intensity off. Then what follows is a catchy arrangement of 'CORE'. At first rather faint, after a while it kicks off with an awesome pulsing (??? or how you call it) synth. While the chords in the latter part flow in a highly dynamic and creative progression. And the climax is nothing short of astonishing. Each individual note of the lead melody feels so powerful with how long they last and the occassional pitch sliding only boosts the power. The chord progression is of equal, if not greater impact as the one in the previous section, and the 'Power of NEO' countermelody is the cherry on top. In fact, this track has convinced me that the 'Battle Against a True Hero'/'Power of NEO' motif might be the most magnificent one I've heard for how short and simple it is. It functions perfectly both as a lead melody _and_ as a countermelody. This climactic part's novelty is so grand that it makes me feel like listening to 'CORE' for the first time again. After that is a section with a chopped up variant of 'Power of NEO'. It's choppiness gives it the impression of a giant corrupted mechanism, fitting for what this track was composed for, and its slower percussive pattern makes it clear this part is to settle down a bit after the climax. Last, but definitely not least, the track transitions to the 3/4 part of 'BAaTH' impressively smoothly. This on its own would be enough to take me aback, but the moment the vocals came in, I felt shivers going down my spine. I may also mention the key signature the whole piece is written in. D minor. Not only my personally favourite minor key, but also one that I've seen being described as arguably the most serious sounding and stirring one. And the track is also pitched up by a few cents compared to the standard musical tuning, which I find to be an incredibly simple yet effective way to make music sound more emotional and unique. To summarise it all in one sentence: Having read the description, I can tell you must have poured a huge amount of your soul into this beautiful piece.

What I love about this is Spamton’s theme is not really present, just to completely emphasize that he’s no longer there. It’s just the body. Edit: OMG TYSM FOR THE LIKES!!

What I love about this is Spamton’s theme is not really present, just to completely emphasize that he’s no longer there. It’s just the body.

that's another thing i love about it, nobody's theme is really present because nobody is controlling [[NEO]], so it's just a beat without anyone's theme over it, it's just- IT'S theme
