37 MPG- that is absolutely great for a ~6.5 second 0-60 wagon.

Nice, good MPG and good acceleration.
Sport mode in my 2014 XC60 T6 AWD knocks half a second off the 0-60 time, I'm glad to see the programming carried over to the new FWD 8 speed transaxle.
Have the exact same setup 2015 v60 drive e sport same colors inside and out sitting at 86,000 in 2024 and loving it.
It's funny that it's a 4-Cylinder and it's called the T5. Volvo's playing just like BMW with the 2.0L 328i and all the other manufacturers, haha.
I leased a 2016 last April for just over 300/month. Great car for that money. (If you don't get the sport package, it rolls pretty bad in the twisties, but it does eat up miles on a road trip.)
Can Andre be shirtless in the next video? I'm curious how delightfully furry he is.
Oh, and Volvos rock 90% of the time.

И wagon , что очень важно в хозяйстве. Привыкаю, лето, пока мы очень довольны, хотя не привычно, что она очень какая-то лёгкая. Живу в Айове, надеюсь, моя новая Прелесть справится с нашими айовскими зимами.

no, it is a 100% Volvo engine.
Confusing me here, is it a 4 cylinder or a 5 cylinder? Video says 4 cylinder but i thought the T5 designation means 5 cylinder turbo.
For 2014/2015 they got new engines, i think only the t6 has 5 cylinders now
T5 awd still has the straight five and the t6 still has the 3.0 straight 6. They will be replacing all of these engines in the future with 4's. The t6 will get a turbo and supercharged 4.
Correct. The new 4 bangers are only in the FWD cars, but will still be called T5 and T6s. AWD's soldier on with the 5 and 6 cylinder engines.
Here in Norway its different, we only got 4 cylinders on all engines but the t6
The one they are driving is a 4 until mid 2015 you will not be able to get a v60 in awd with a 4 until then they will be 5 and 6 cylinders so yes that car is a 4
I wish youd compare the same mode with a person and without one. Not one without and a different with. Thats just confusing and weird.

I had to do some googling when he said "4-cylinder T5". Usually a volvo T5 is a turbo 5 cylinder. Kind of annoyingly disappointing. Looks like their engine names are now just as messed up as their current model names..just like BMWs mess of vehicles.

this car is almost $10,000 more than VW Golf GTI which is a very similar car. is a space for one extra bag really worth $10,000 ?
+Unapologetic Geek A Golf is a Golf, a Volvo V60 is a V60. It's like comparing a Golf with an A4/3-series.
+Unapologetic Geek I have a 2015 e-golf and a 2016 V60 and I had a 2012 GTI. I got the Volvo for 34k (sticker of 41k). It is worth that difference.
BokiXI well i didn't test drive the GTI but i test drove the A3 and the V60 and i actually preferred the A3 - it was snappier, the V60 felt heavy although smooth and powerful. the 328i and C300 also both drove better than V60, although the V60 beat all the japanese cars i test drove. in retrospect this isn't really surprising.

Pretty pointless....one person accelerating in 'Normal' then 2 people accelerating in 'Sport'. The results really don't tell you anything. Do these guys really get paid for this crap?

What's your point? Car makers under foreign ownership are quite popular, you're just nitpicking at things that DON'T matter.
Well Ford bought it in 1999, and sucked it dry of technology. The Chinese Geely were smart enough to buy it from Ford in 2010, and so far have not degraded the design and construction.
Its not volvo any more,pointless car.It looks like KIA ,drives like KIA but KIA has better quality and 7yrs warranty and is much much cheaper.
bullsh*t - Volvo's are still engineered in Sweden and built in Europe and this looks nothing like a KIA.
