I Used To Be Afraid Of Snakes.......??????

That's right, many years ago I used to be afraid of snakes. I grew up in a family that was afraid of snakes, so by indoctrination i was too. Luckily I learned a lot more about them and now years later they have become my LIFE!!! Enjoy the video!

I think that most people whether they want to admit it or not have a natural fear of snakes. It's a learned phobia that most pick up from their parents. Like you said the more you learn about snakes the less you have to be afraid of. It's definitely smart to have a healthy respect for snakes and they should always be handled with safety in mind. When it comes to your Rattlesnakes always use your tools and don't be one of those guys that free handle their hot snakes. No matter how calm your snake may appear it only takes the snake getting spooked or startled to cause a bite. Better to be safe than sorry.
