Good story. Your ethics about work are great. I've been driving big rigs since 1990. Now I'm finally thinking about going into business myself, either into expediting or delivering RV's. So many variables concerning getting your own authority. If you're going the route of using your authority to get on load boards it'll be slow going at first because the brokers want age to your authority. Direct customers is huge. Signing on with carriers can be beneficial if done correctly. Remember that all of the carriers and brokers looking for freight for you are bidding against each other.

He's still kicking. Lol. He just hasn't done any videos cuz he's a slacker! Lol
Damm son ,you roughed it in the beginning
And I still enjoyed the job and knew I wanted to go forward.
How to get started in this business? What is paperwork you have to had to apply the job? How do you find broker connections?
I'm signed on to a company... but yesterday I paid to get authority... I have the insurance... u think I will make more money using a broker as well as getting my own loads off the board??
So many variables concerning getting your own authority. If you're going the route of using your authority to get on load boards it'll be slow going at first because the brokers want age to your authority. Direct customers is huge. Signing on with carriers can be beneficial if done correctly. Remember that all of the carriers and brokers looking for freight for you are bidding against each other.
@@EverythingApax how much time they want?? I figured I could work with a few carriers.. as well as catch some loads that I dont 60/40 split
