Part 1: What is Brain Inflammation? The Process, Causes, and Symptoms
Nutritional supplements are just one type of neuro-regenerative therapy that can be used to heal the damaging effects of inflammation, and to stop - or even reverse - the destruction of neural tissue.
In this one-hour lecture, Dr. Gary Kaplan of the Kaplan Center for Integrative Medicine, will cover 8 powerful supplements for supporting and improving cognitive function, including the role they play in calming the neuro-inflammatory process that can damage neural tissue, cause or exacerbate physical pain and emotional suffering, and erode mental clarity.
The supplements that Dr. Kaplan will discuss include: Omega-3, Vitamin-D, CoQ10, Ginkgo Extract, Curcumin, Melatonin, Trans-Resveratrol, and Glutathione.
Learn how you can nurture and even heal your brain for improved memory, mood, and overall cognitive health.

Is this info known by anyone else? I always said that depression was a medical issue if a pill could fix it, yet, insurance companies pay less per visit, deny long tern disability insurance benefits if it co-exists with your medical problems, or that's "the only" problem you have because no one knows how to diagnose ME, with the exception of a very few doctors. It's all so very sad really. How would I begin to try to share this info with my doctors?

What about Benzodiazepines? If someone c/t 's off and shocks their brain and CNS wouldn't they add inflammation in their brain?

I ct my benzo but I think it didn't inflame the brain but all these drugs can make nervous system sensitive and maybe coq10 depletion. My brain has now become sensitive.

A paper just came out that asserted OCD is likely caused by neuroinflammation. Very interesting stuff.

no mention of coconut oil, healthy fats, probiotics and b12/b complex...why? I'm currently treating candida with probiotics but am having a hard time keeping mental clarity likely due to both candida and hormonal issues that are correlated with my menstrual cycle. ..
