@@kateallen570 Most people in the us don’t have large closets or closets at all 💀💀 I swear people in the us think their home or state is the one that represents what’s average
If you have the opportunity you should definitely expand the closet up to the roof. You can have a hangerbar that can be pulled down and drawers and shelves in the bottom.
It's tiny to me. But in the US we also use our closet to store other items. Like i have Christmas decorations and school textbooks and clothes in there
Muji drawers are the best. I used the same ones for the save purpose. They also had long versions previously that worked very well for under bed storage
Thank you so much. I live in a small house with hubby 2 large dogs and his mom. I immediately went to the Ikea site for the shoe stickers. I too use bins under the bed. Now I get a birthday trip to Tampa.
That’s huge have you seen our wardrobes in England😂that’s if you lucky enough to get a built in one if not they are literally the width of a toddlers bed unless ur well off
hii, i just wanted to say i love your videos! i have followed most of your advice, as me and my swedish boyfriend also live in a pretty small place. Coming to London in september, if you guys ever wanted to do a double date :)
Your closet is actually twice the size of mine and my husband’s closet that we share. I have to store a lot of my things in under-bed boxes. I love your closet space!!
My boyfriend and I share an even smaller closet, I only put the clothes of the season in there and put the rest in storage (I have a lot of clothes, even after giving most of it to charity)
You can take care of the shoes like spray them inside, wear insoles and etc either way shoes don't really smell like that most of the time, we have a special tiny shoe room in the house and it smells just fine, same for other shoe storage places
Don't tell me you get your boyfriend to put his shoes back in those little cubbies every time. Because I don't know any man that would. Seems like a pain even to me. Use baskets for your casual shoes.
It’s not the 18th century. Let people live their lives how they want to. I lived with my bf and now we’re very happily married to each other. Simply dating is a fantasy, it doesn’t tell you much about a person’s habits. Living with him prior to marriage made me realize how cleanly, organized, collaborative with me (not just letting me do everything), etc he is - which made me love him even more and realize I really wanted to share my life with him.

This is the average size for a wardrobe in germany lol.
i had a bigger one, even as a child and most people I knew and know now have more space than that 🤷🏼♀️ (I’m from Germany)

Is that an ikea wardrobe??? This is so good! I might try this instead of the unit I have
You can have a full house in birmingham
You can get some of the white bins that's under your bed and put a couple on top of the closet for more storage if need be.
I feel you! We just have 1m of closet each. It‘s so annoying to switch summer / winter clothes in the cellar twice a year.
Great short :D
This closet is supposed to be small? Its huge even for 2 pol

Doesn't your closet smell bad because of shoes?
I put my shoes in the box to prevent the bad smell.
