Nice video. I have something almost identical. Your idea of painting the platform is a good one. I didn't paint mine and the platform got ruined with the very first rain. Started completely delaminating. It's like an indoor plywood not an exterior wood.
Aloha Braddah, great review! I have a caged top to fit on my two tier Werner Baker scaffold. A lot safer and less chance of hule. I was looking for cross braces but can't find any but seen another video with someone stabilizing the scaffold with ratcheting tie downs. I got the outriggers too. When you old, you have to get all the safety devices before you climb up . . . 70+ now AUWE!
Howzit Stephen, dat ratchet strap idea sounds like it would work. And yes, when I was young I could "jump" an 8' ladder a few feet to the side w/o getting down. Now at 64 I make sure somebody home in case I huli.

Yes, you can stack them. The baker scaffolding and accessories sold at the "big box" home improvement stores, Harbor Freight, Amazon... they are all pretty much the same, and you can mix and match. I have 2 Harbor Freight scaffolds (stacked), with MetalTech outriggers, and WEN brand (from Amazon) safety rails. Everything fit together like it was all the same brand.
